Rumor: Master Chief getting waxed for Madame Tussauds

As we all know, Madame Tussauds isn't into real men, she likes them completely waxed. Godfree over at GameTagRadio received the photo above, which comes from a listener who apparently snapped it while taking a tour of Madame Tussauds wax museum in London, showing what appears to be Master Chief in development.

It definitely looks like the Master Chief, but for the sake of Cortana, the spy couldn't angle the camera up a couple more degrees and get the head? It looks like a bad fuzzy pic on an internet "dating" site. If it is the Master Chief, we're sure there'll be an announcement very soon -- only a couple more weeks before the fight is finished.

The Madame Tussauds in NYC is cool. I went there a few years ago.

Didn't see anyone Video game characters though.

Methinks that if any game character needs to be waxed, it needs to be Mario. Either that, or the Pong paddles hitting the ball back and forth. I'd pay money to see that.

Master Chief was supposed to meet up with President George W. Bush on Sept. 25th....but unfortunately Master Chief won't be able to make it.

Oh he is? I was following what Gambit said. Then Halo can get their Spot. maybe lara croft could get in also. And Link.

This could possible be a commission piece, Tussauds do them quite often. Maybe for some kind of promo, I can't see this going on display in it's birthplace tbh.

Mario just isn't interesting to look at, and likely isn't interesting to make...

I think any game character getting waxed for Madame Tussauds is a step closer to videogames becoming more mainstream and accepted. Which can only be good.

Videogames becoming high art?! Oh noes, somebody call the Ebert-man!

If Madame Tussauds wants any ideas for wax figures based off of video games here are some suggestions:

Nintendo - Mario and Luigi(of course)
Sega - Sonic the Hedgehog
Capcom - have the original 8 line up of Street Fighter 2
Squaresoft - Cloud Strife and Aerith with a Moogle in
front
Rare- Fulgore
Namco- Pac-Man with ghosts
Midway - Mortal Kombat

If anyone else has any other ideas...or can better this list....by all means go ahead!!!

yeah, a wax pacman would be really interesting to look at. while we are at it why dont we ask for one of the paddles from pong.
