You're taking the marketing joke too far enough. What did you guys get payed 599USD to extend that wii little meme? Or did someone attack your weak spot for massive money printing? Call me when you get back to real-time news posting in historical video gaming.

Methinks that if any game character needs to be waxed, it needs to be Mario. Either that, or the Pong paddles hitting the ball back and forth. I'd pay money to see that.

Master Chief was supposed to meet up with President George W. Bush on Sept. 25th....but unfortunately Master Chief won't be able to make it.

Master Chief is bigger than Jesus, Mario and Michael Jordan.

What a joke.

Dont get your panties in a bunch. Mario is the one and only video game character in the hollywood wax museum. Let the Chief has his day:)

This could possible be a commission piece, Tussauds do them quite often. Maybe for some kind of promo, I can't see this going on display in it's birthplace tbh.

Mario just isn't interesting to look at, and likely isn't interesting to make...

Lara Croft on the other hands, delicious curves.

I think any game character getting waxed for Madame Tussauds is a step closer to videogames becoming more mainstream and accepted. Which can only be good.

If Madame Tussauds wants any ideas for wax figures based off of video games here are some suggestions:

Nintendo - Mario and Luigi(of course)
Sega - Sonic the Hedgehog
Capcom - have the original 8 line up of Street Fighter 2
Squaresoft - Cloud Strife and Aerith with a Moogle in
front
Rare- Fulgore
Namco- Pac-Man with ghosts
Midway - Mortal Kombat

If anyone else has any other ideas...or can better this list....by all means go ahead!!!

This is the beginning of the REAL issue behind this article: Which one of these two characters should be wax-statued first?

Lara Croft or Zero Suit Samus?

Not a Nintendo fan but I would rather see either Link or Samus Aran.

And no Aerith, Chocobo for the win.
