Forty PS3 titles to be playable at TGS

According to IGN, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has unveiled a list of PlayStation 3 titles expected to be playable at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. The event, which runs from the 20th to the 23rd of September, will host 40 demos -- some new, some already released and judging by the presence of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean, some playable only in the very general sense of the word.

You'll find the complete list situated after the break, sans four mystery games Sony has yet to announce. You'll also spy a new untitled project from Tetsuya Mizuguchi's Q Entertainment, the developer behind mesmerizing block dropper Lumines. We can only hope that when they flip a coin to decide between Lumines for the PlayStation Network and a sequel to Ninety-Nine Nights, the forces of the universe act in our favor.

The only game Im jealous is Little Big Planet... Devil May Cry and Assasins Creed are games that will be better on 360 (better online integration and achivements).

Ok Fernando, I took my time to check all the Wii games, guess what? even tho the Wii has more games than the PS3, the average rating is 62.8...

If I was to only take Nintendo published/developed games (not even counting Majesco which almost counts as one, lol) then there are 11 titles (Wii Sports included) the average rating is 75, 5 games being under 75...

well, probably Nintendo will shows their new groundbreaking library of games:

Pokemon whatever-color-there-is-left
Mario whatever-sport-there-is-left
Zelda A link to the past (remastered and this time with motion sensing! :D)
MiiWorld (Animal Crossing but this time its your own Miis)

They'll probably also show new peripheral like a WiiKnife (for WiiCooking or a sorta FPS)

Look around. Look at the constant crap he posts. And why shouldn't people mention games like R&C and Uncharted? Those two will likely be very good. So it's only natural people mention those when people act like the PS3 has no games coming this fall. Fernando's post was a lame attempt to head those posts off as if they aren't valid points, but my point was that they ARE valid points. Just as much as mentioned the hyped games for any systems.

Do yourself a favor and stop trying to defend him. Anyone who has been around here for a while should know he does nothing but post nonsense and attempt to stir up trouble.

I know its popular to bash the PS3. The fact that it is selling nearly as well as the 360 despite being more expensive and having few games must upset those that chose the 360 as their video game system of choice. The 40 look good, Echochrome and Ratchet and Clank look good and I'm looking forward to when Resisitance FOM 2 is announced. I cant wait till I'm out of work and can get back to Lair. The motion controls take some getting used to but they arent nearly as spotty as WiiSports, Mario Party 8, Red Steel.... But don't tell the reviewers after all when you live by the poll #s you have to be for or against whatever the majority (at the time) is.

You can't be serious...BTW I played Lair for about 5 minutes at the local Best Buy today. If by "takes some getting used to" you mean learn to adjust to a nearly 1 second delayed response then you are right on. Sorry, but I'd rather not "get used to" that. Not even to mention the horribly "muddy" textures. Oh and I like how the "real" textures pop-in when you get close to the ground. Really bad. 4.5 out of 10 on my scale.

Yes thats right the graphics on lair are terrible. LOL yes I completely believe you played it. The textures are muddy the soundtrack is a remix of 8 bit Mario and the controls are terrible. No.No. and No. There is no radar because dragons dont come with that built in, no dragons dont have after burners either I'm sorry. They glide and can pull off 90 degree turns you're right they should have used a Rogue Squadron game engine and just copy pasted a dragon over it. You know what nevermind. lair sucks, dont buy it and keep doing what the media tells you to do. I find it oddly coincidental that your review is exactly what IGN gave it. Any slowdown in Gears of War? Any pop-up in Crackdown? Keep drinking the kool-aid its much easier to do what your told then think for yourself.
