Forty PS3 titles to be playable at TGS

According to IGN, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has unveiled a list of PlayStation 3 titles expected to be playable at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. The event, which runs from the 20th to the 23rd of September, will host 40 demos -- some new, some already released and judging by the presence of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean, some playable only in the very general sense of the word.

You'll find the complete list situated after the break, sans four mystery games Sony has yet to announce. You'll also spy a new untitled project from Tetsuya Mizuguchi's Q Entertainment, the developer behind mesmerizing block dropper Lumines. We can only hope that when they flip a coin to decide between Lumines for the PlayStation Network and a sequel to Ninety-Nine Nights, the forces of the universe act in our favor.

why is it promising? it has great graphics? so it's promising in the same way lair and heavenly sword were?

I think he means "sales flop". I imagine a sleeper hit with that one. Looks good, I'll get it, but I'm worried it might suffer the same sort of fate Viva Pinata had.

It has nothing to do with the great graphics, well maybe alittle bit. But it's the whole creating and sharing part that has a ton of potential on a market (consoles) where there has been nothing like this before.

While these 40 games will be "playable" Japan will unfortuneately have to stick to playing with the "motion controls only" scheme. No buttons will work, and there is no changing it. Good luck playing Devil May Cry 4 like that :)

I'm trying to find a title on the list that I can't get on 360, that I'm actually excited for.

It's like where's Waldo, but Waldo's not there. Uncharted...no...DARK SECTOR there we - o wait...

It seems I'm the only one who gives a crap about Eye of Judgement.

I hope they use the pseye for more games like YGO or a MGO for the Ps3.

The only game on this list that I classify as a MUST BUY for my PS3 = TIME CRISIS 4....

that's it. Sorry....Heavenly Sword's demo far from sold me. Maybe SEGA RALLY....and that's a big maybe.

My PS3 library will increase to 4 games.....(Yes...I bought the disc version of WARHAWK...with a coupon which made it 5$ more than the downloadable version)

Everything else is on 360 or MEH......
The power of achievement points and XBL make all multi-platform titles slant to the 360. Sorry...it's just the truth.
