Kane and Lynch movie gets fast-tracked
Apparently, Lionsgate likes what they're seeing in an adaptation of forthcoming Eidos action game Kane and Lynch: Dead Men. IGN reports that the studio has fast-tracked the film to start shooting in the fall from a script by Kyle Ward. (We'll save you a click, he's done one movie and you haven't heard of it.)
According to IGN though, you probably have heard of at least one of the actors who are interested in playing one of the lead roles. If Lionsgate is looking for name actors here, we'd like to throw in a suggestion: Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Zachery Ty Bryan. No one would see that coming. Now, if they'd complete the Home Improvement trifecta and cast Taran Noah Smith as a cop hell-bent on bringing them to justice, we'd go ahead and pre-order our tickets today.

How scared are people about this script's future? The guy wrote a short movie about a boxer trying to get money and now will be writing this script?
I'm expecting a 1.5 hr Cliche.

Hah hah hah hah. That is hilarious. Perhaps Tim Allen could play the part of the drunk, wife abusing, father. Of course, the mother doesn't have to be around, as she suddenly disappeared under mysteriously circumstances. ;)

Malkovich is a dead ringer for the guy on the right.

Do you realize that by "saving us the click," we all clicked to see if maybe we were the one soul to know the movie he previously did? So devious haha

If they could cast a Home Improvement trifeca they wouldn't even need a producer, I would pay to fund that movie. In fact, I would start an organization dedicated to that movie seeing the light of day.

You know Ed Harris would be perfect for the guy on the left.

Step 1: Remove "A History of Violence" eye scar makeup from left eye
Step 2: Apply scar makeup to right eye.
Done.

Lol! That's an awsome Home Improvement reference there! But God please don't let Tim Allen in this move! Actually the bald guy sorta looks like Al.

Billy-bob Thornton on the left or right, and maybe Ray Liotta on the left, maybe Keanu Reaves, maaaaybe Christian Slater (I liked Kuffs, ok...), Johnny Depp on either side, Hugh Jackman, Edward Norton on the left, maaaaybe Brad Pitt on the left.
I could probably go on, but like anyone cares ; P
Anyways, I'll go see the movie; sounds sweet.

Christopher Meloni for Kane, Paul Giamatti for Lynch.
Ergot @ Nov 18th 2007 11:14PM
Bruce Willis as Kane and Billy Bob Thornton as Lynch would be perfect
Tgsh @ Nov 18th 2007 11:22PM
not all about looks people, about acting ability, I've played the game (not that good I suggest a rental not a buy) and Billy Bob Thorton as Lynch (aka the guy on the right) would be perfect. Play the game then watch bad santa, you will know exactly what I'm talking about.
Akuma-X @ Nov 25th 2007 10:54AM
Paul Giamatti Fit perfectly as Lynch try Vinnie Jones (The Condemned,Gone in 60 Seconds)as Kane
