It's hitting PS2 but not Wii? What, they hate money?

No, they just hate Nintendo. And they probably don't want the game to forever be known as kiddy for being on Wii. Plus, the motion controls would be a little strange.

The Wii actually has a very low game attach rate, while the Wii is selling loads, the only real games that are selling with it are either Nintendo games or other casual games...

I find long delays like this much more heartening than the 2 week or 1 month delays. At least they are giving themselves enough time to deal with whatever problems crop up. When a company delays for a month it's like a bandaid for a broken leg (see Lair).

Yeah, this holiday was just too packed for a lot of games. Push Mercs to next summer to help with the annual "drought".

I'm actually happy to hear this because of the jam packed Fall we have coming for Xbox 360. With Halo 3, Mass Effect, Rock Band, and COD 4, it was difficult to imagine me fitting this in.
