Some parts, like the Arm Cannon, seem to be directly cast/molded from the Joyride Studios figure (to be honest, I own it, but it's just weird to look at :P). Because of Samus' shape, you would think a well-articulated figure could be released sometime in the future.
That figure looks great so far. :)
Looks like there are Link parts in the background as well. :P

It is 12 inches tall... so no its not a direct cast/mold from Joyride's tiny figure.
