For $40 more, can't really call it a "bonus"

Gotta agree with Mr. Slavio on this. The bundle's more than twice the cost of the game, and apparently all you're getting extra is an (apparently) sub-par miniature amp. Their hearts are in the right place, but I'll personally be getting the game next week and figuring out my amplifying issues in some other fashion.

I can only imagine what type of ridiculous things people can do in public with this.

So, basically the bundle includes an external speaker that'll plug into the DS's headphone jack, similar to external speakers made for the PSP and iPod.

I think that DS Demo Stations carry a demo for this right now. I have to try it sometime. It's a shame because Nintendo Power had a preview of it a couple months ago, and it sounded fun.

Why would you buy this game unless you were already a guitarist, so wouldn't you already have an amp?

Not to rip on the game, ive played it and its awesome.

Because some of us would like to feel what it's like to be able to "play the guitar" (read "produce user-generated melodies") without all of the frustration of actually learning the real guitar.

That's what gaming is. A giant self-justified gimmick by its amount of fun and accessibility.

Now THAT'S how you milk a yet-to-be franchise!

GG Ubisoft, go get that niche market.

(I'm interested in that pseudo-game because I like the idea of being able to play acoustic guitar chords without the real deal bouncing me off due to frustration.)
