I just realised something...technically could bring your PS3 around with you to another persons house, just with your PSP and TV cable. :P

Yes you could so long as you leave the PS3 on, you're prepared not to play any games, and want to watch movies through low quality streaming. There is also the small matter of whether remote play works when you have TV cables plugged into the PSP. Maybe it doesn't. That's not to say remote play is bad but it has limits.

The video out is pretty impressive. I bought some UMD's a while back from gamestop for 5 bucks a piece, and they are movies I dont have on DVD. Its kind of cool that the picture quality is so good.

I wonder does the standard sony soft pouch fits the PSP-2000. It fits really snug on the current psp, I wonder is it too loose for the smaller model.

I have a white Wii, a white DS Lite, and a silver PS2 Slim. I really would like to get the silver PSP to complement my array of tech, but it only comes in that bundle at the moment. Well, I do like the Jak series, and I could always sell the Family Guy UMD, and that memory stick is a nice deal, but then again I like to feel like I am spending less money.

We'll see.

Well if you think of it, the $30 difference is worth it. You get a game ($20) a umd ($10) and a 1Gb MSPD ($25) so you save quite a bit.

I'm getting the Daxter pack because my 512 stick deosn't cut it anymore and I've never played Daxter and it is a supposed must-own title.

I'm having difficulty seeing a reason why this "redesign" was necessary. I guess this finally means no psp with dual analog sticks (something I'm still hoping for on the ds).

Im more excited for the GP2x-F200. Its the redesign and features a new Dpad and a touch screen. Should be great for emulating a mouse with all those old computer games.

I would try out the GP2X but I doubt I ever will because when I hold it in my hand it feels like I'm holding a turd.

Getting one. I sold my original PSP that I had on day one when I was only using it for MP3 playback. (no good games) Now finally there are some quality titles plus TV out is pretty sweet! Will it take the place of my DS... probably not.

Went to three Best Buys today. Two of the stores had no idea what a silver PSP was and gave me a weird look when I asked. The third Best Buy told me that they wont be released until Sunday. So. I'll be ready. At 11 am.

Hmm, a system that plays Playstation games and DVDs on a television, where have I seen that before?

It's hard to make out any differences in the two movies due to the low quality of the streaming flash video. If I was going to buy a PSP this new silver bundle is pretty tempting. I haven't decided yet, I just got a PS3 and that's been keeping me busy.

Anybody know where I can pick up a AV Cable for the new PSPs? I bought a new one from Best Buy last night, but BB, Walmart and Target don't seem to have the cable yet. GS doesn't have the new PSP nor the cable around here. And none of them have it on their websites either...

Any Ideas? I'm in the Madison, WI area.

W00T! I;m xcited! I've been saving pocket money for months for this Daxter pack! It'd better be good...:) One question...how far does the wireless range go on the new one THROUGH WALLS? Eg, sitting in the room ABOVE the router, or the room next to it?
