Why is it that every picture of Peter Moore has him sitting in a large, almost regal looking chair? Seriously - he sits in these big chairs and gestures as though he's the frickin don of the god damned mafia..... Peter Moore is awesome.

Well of course they can take anyone on. They'll just buy them.

The nike swoosh is on everything because its a logo that is universally recognizable. EA Sports would need to come up with some logo detached from their name, that has the same brand recognition for this to happen. Otherwise fat chance in hell i say.

To me this reall drives home how unimportant these PR people are. I like Peter Moore, but if you've read a couple of his EA interviews it reads just like his MS interviews. It's like he's never worked anywhere else before.

It's obviously expected for his job, but all these people are chameleons. I don't really understand why people take a lot of it at face value.

I hate Peter Moore (and the other Moore's of the world). Ok, I don't hate hIm but his work makes him seem like he is an insufferable no-it-all who thinks if he can keep a straight face and bend the truth to make himself and his company look good it isn't the same thing as lying. At some point it makes me just turn him off, EVEN WHEN HE'S SEEMS TO BE TELLING THE TRUTH because he delivers the news with the same conviction as the BS he spews out before and after it.

Hell, they used to call the NASCAR race at Talledega the EA Sports 500, so I could see this happening.

I'd honestly argue that the EA logo is fine to begin with. Every one who plays games recognizes it, which is a significant amount of the populace and (arguably) sports fans. Changing at this point would require a lot of work and I just don't see the point. Nike might have the swoosh, but they've had it forever. EA just has EA.

EA is too busy releasing half-assed games to worry about competing with the likes of Nike and ESPN. With as many bugs and crashes as Tiger Woods 08 has they need to start worrying about their customers passing up future releases for similar 2K releases. I'm definitely getting NHL2K8 after I blew money on an untested and mediocrely updated TW08. Screw you EA!

I hate this idiot. He takes the word pipe dreamer and gives it new meaning. Then when he fails, he always magically gets a newer and better job. Fuck Moore, fuck him right in the ear.
