For those of you that have wanted to jump on the PSP-2000 bandwagon, this might be your best chance. EB Games/GameStop are offering an extra $20 of trade-in value when you give them your PSP. The deal expires 9/13, so you'd best get a move on now.

@1 about $80 i believe...not worth it imo.. I mean, I'd LOVE a new PSP but so little for my current one seems like a rip =/

@2
Well, keep in mind the new psp-2000 is 200 dollars so 80 dollars (close to half) isn't that bad of a deal. Sure you could do better, but for gamestop thats pretty good.

I'm waiting to get one at Costo (price club for others)
Their return policy of no questions asked is great, and I'll probably get somthing bundled with it alongside Daxter for the MSRP. I do so love Costco. :)

How many months ago was EBgames telling you to trade your psp in for a DS and now they look like they really want psp. Can't have mine @sswipes!

Good God, don't support or encourage EB Games/Gamestop in any way.
Those parasites gave me $4 for (fill in the blank) and I saw it on the shelf two days later for $40.
My problem, yeah, but I don't do that anymore, and neither should you. Sell your PSP privately for 80 bucks or more (if its in good shape) and don't participate in the vile karma of these greedy demon swine.

GAME in the UK are offering £60 if you trade in your old PSP, so the total cost is only £70

now if you can only find a gamestop that actually has them in stock that would be a feat in and of itself.
@"The PSP 2000 is $169...not $200"
The daxter bundle is $199. The core pack will be $169 but isn't available right at launch. Or so i've heard. I mean feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

I don't know if this is a good enough deal to make me give up my 1001 model. I do like the Daxter bundle, and if GS/EB will price match the Target $169 price for it, I MIGHT do it. I have about $60 on my card, plus this $80 would give me almost the whole nut . . .
PSP with a game or two are going for $150+ on eBay, still!

( it's pretty old psp..not bad for 125 way better than 60 or even lower in eb games )
u guys should try too
basically u post the item in the web
and people who are interested will email you
and then you meet the buyer and they pay you cash or
vice versa GUYS!! not all people want that new psp
they want to mod their psp(s)!!!!!!
some people can sell it even 200 if you add memory stick and games
this web site had most cities in usa and some cities in canada or try kijiji.com

Depends on what is more important to you games or music. If it's games than the psp. If it's music than the iPod. Although if you're getting an ipod i think it's better to go with an ipod classic you get more memory for a cheaper price. In terms of the ipod(music) or psp(games)'s area of expertese I think you can't really compare the two. The psp media player doesn't match that of an ipod and the ipod will never play games like the psp can. Hope that helps.

I know Gamestop is the biggest rip off (especially their used games) but please tell me that they're offering more than $20 for a psp.
I'm not saying I'd be surprised if that's all you get, but damn... no wonder Gamestop stock is doing so well, they totally swindle gamers.
I like to hope that it's just naive parents who get hustled by them but I have a feeling there are allot of gullible gamers who just don't know better.
Know better: sell your consoles & games on amazon or ebay where you'll get 4 times the money you'd get from Gamestop and buy used games/consoles from amazon or ebay too so you can save more than $2.

I was thinking about selling mine to EbGames. As of 9\11\07, with the $20 bonus how much do you think it's worth. (I have two games; Socom US Navy Seals: Fire Team Bravo, and Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories, as well as a 512MB Memory Card.)

DO NOT SELL TO EBGAMES! I checked in there today and all they're offering is $50 with the $20 store credit bonus. It's the biggest rip off!
