After reading a few notes on the internet this week about the webcomic wrapup, it's come to our attention that you may not be reading (and subsequently voting for) these webcomics in the correct manner. Thank the Lord you have us to show you the way.

Here's our handy guide for surviving these Saturday scenarios:

Gloss over the links to see which ones come from your favorite artists.
Choose your favorite comic.
Vote for Penny Arcade regardless of step 2.
Leave a comment below expresses your disdain for our choices.

It's a famous poster you guys. I'm sure plenty of classrooms have it (including at my old high school).

It seems they don't actually teach history in those classrooms anymore.

Sigh, I know it sounds wrong, me being the New and Exciting Guy, but PA was ACTUALLY funny this week and actually funnier than any of the other entries.

I preferred the earlier PA comic, "Getting Down". But I guess they're going with the Lair theme.

No CAD? No Dueling Analogs? There is a god....

digitalunrest was cool but that 2P start strip was made of gold haha.

These are all pretty lame. Can't you guys pick out some good comics?

I say its between PA, 2p Start and Digital Unrest.

And DU made me laugh most.

Id vote for the PA one if i actually played Lair.

I think that after his last extended absence he realized that he could go to posting one comic every six months and still get all the ad and merchandising revenue. Wouldn't be the first time an artist decided to coast on their past success.

I don't mean to be a grammar Nazi, but the fanboys big a huge grammar boo-boo. Albeit being a big fan of their work...here's what I have to say to them: You're not getting my vote this week!

Haha, I was just going to say the same thing. If you are going to stay home to do comics, at least spell check the damn things! No vote for you!

Marketing 101 got my vote. Not sure if the last one was funny or not, since reading all the other boring ones preceding it made me lose interest, so i stopped.

Oh, and it's "you're invited" to the person who did the expo one, not "your invited". But it doesn't matter, it wasn't funny.

The strip is actually a mini-side project to our podcast...which is an AUDIO ORGASM!

Yeah those all sucked...on a brighter note, Skate got a 9.0 on IGN, thats pretty cool.

And even so GS SW posters are complaining about it.

In other news I saw the N.E.D.M and N.E.E.M coustesy of my stupid curiosity.Feel free to see them beacuse God how I regret seeing that crap,Hell I never thought there would be anything worst than Goatse.

On the 360. The PS3 version got an 8.8 because of aliasing issues, blurry look, and framerate hitches.

Actually the comment from IGN was the funny part, but who cares.

Personally I think Penny Arcade has gone seriously down hill over the last year and a bit, however this strip is definitely a return to form. No swearing which is only funny if your five, no trying to be funny by being politically un-correct which is only funny if your in your early teens just simple irony. For once I'm going against the grain by voting for PA instead of against it, and it feels good.

they usually don't swear just to swear, they do it because that's how they actually talk

Well in that case it seems many of their strips go by without an actual punchline. Please don't feel the need to get all defensive though, I used to love PA, my point is just that lately I haven't found them even close to funny. I haven't even been able to see why others _would_ find them funny like I have with other comics (beyond the swearing or paedophilia, etc jokes). I really hope this is a return to form for them.

I think Gabe likes drawing kittens. :P

DU was great. I also liked 2P, PA, and Fanboys.

2pstart was down for me, so I had to vote for DU.

Lots of "Ah-so" comics making fun of Asians this week. What do Asians have to do with tequila? What am I missing?
