We used to love it when Snorlax would come crashing down and lay a beating on anyone within his range in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Now, there's no reason why he still can't be in Brawl, but considering his pre-evolved self Munchlax is the focus of today's dojo update, the odds just got more slim. Oh, and Munchlax doesn't have the capacity for violence as Snorlax, deciding to instead eat any item in his sights rather than attack the fighters.

Wouldn't it be cool if Munchlax shows up and starts eating all the items he can get his hands on until he reaches a certain limit and then evolves into Snorlax for the classic attack?

I'm particularly happy that this update confirms the return of Lip's Stick, which also appeared in Melee, and is from Nintendo's Panel de Pon series (Tetris Attack and Pokemon Puzzle League in the US).
Hopefully this may even hint that Lip herself will join in on the fighting this time...

More likely that Lip ends up being an assist trophy.
Munchlax's first picture on the smashbros.com page is damn funny. I think I'm going to use that somehow.

I would hope so. Lip was on my personal "predicted character bracket," as the kind of crazy-obscure secret character, the next Mr. Game and Watch or Ness, both hardest to unlock and most awesome
I've only been wrong once so far, Pokemon Trainer came out of left field

And today Masahiro Sakurai realizes that he's going to have a hard time stretching out the updates until Dec. 3 if he puts up only meaningful content..

Is that level Smashville? It didn't look like it to me, and if it isn't, Animal Crossing Boy is a playable character?

Okay, never mind, after looking at the other pages, that most definitely is Smashville. However, Animal Crossing Characters would be interesting. Up Special- Parasol Spin; Side Special- Fishing Rod Throw; Special- Axe Swing (chargeable); Down Special- Resetti Pop Up (from in a little ways in front of you) or Parasol Deflector (like Fox's deflector), all attacks- shovel swing. Think about it!

I never noticed it said 1-4 players on the site. I guess that rules out the 8-player local multiplayer.
