The Engineer tells his tale in Team Fortress 2 trailer

Now's a good a time as any to remind people that if you really need to play Team Fortress 2 (and you're a PC owner), all you need to do is pre-purchase The Orange Box on Steam and you can start playing the TF2 beta next week. Although we don't exactly know how, but we hope some of the humor from these trailers translates to the gameplay. Then again, we've gotten used to the possibility of well-designed trailers being more interesting than the games they are for.

I'm not too excited about the Orange Box. TF2 sounded good til I saw the game play video. The only way I'd buy it if there was a new Counter-Strike involved. Portal is basically a tech demo. HL2 was awesome but there is nothing too new here.

This game is gonna kick so much freakin ass. I can't wait for it. I am gonna buy it for the ps3. Bad thing is I have to wait 2 weeks for it, when it is already out on 360 and the PC. Well whatever. I would have gotten it for the 360 but I am waiting to buy a 360 because I want to get the Falcon model. So I know for sure that it won't brick on me. Otherwise I am all good this winter with My Wii and PS3

You aren't paying for it. TF2 and HL2 Episode one are more than worth the 50 bucks and you get portal as a free bonus.

The short of it is: If you already own HL2 and Ep1, you can essentially give the new copies from the Orange Box to somebody else. Not the best workaround, but considering the price tag it's still a great deal.

Obviously I have a PC. And yes, it can play games. I'm just not too much of a PC gamer, and I didn't notice that it said it was available on the PC. The only reason I don't have a 360 is because I can't afford it. And I'm totally unwilling to buy a PS3 as it stands.
