Free Halo 3 XBLM downloads already available

As part of the Halo 3 launch and week long Unite to Fight festivities, Best Buy sponsored and already released a free Halo 3 theme and set of gamer pictures to the XBLM. These free downloads are available right now and can be found under the the "New Releases" section of the "Themes and Gamer Pictures" category listed as "Best Buy". And let it be known that this set of four Halo 3 gamer pictures simply rock. The theme on the other hand is somewhat iffy featuring some great artwork on each blade, but each is plastered with random corporate logos. Eww. But everything is free so we won't complain (too much).

Also, is it just us or were we not supposed to get these free downloads until Halo 3's launch week festivities started? We were under the impression that the free Best Buy sponsored downloads were only being offered Unite to Fight week leading us to believe that we're getting Halo 3 downloads a little early. But Major Nelson says they're supposed to be available today, they are on the Marketplace today, so we're downloading them today and will not ask any questions. Go get 'em while they're hot fanboys!
