GayGamer.net deserves every iota of traffic they get from dragging Infogrames' high-production value diva anthem out of the company closet. Just to give an idea of reactions on our own staff, we had uncomfortable school-girl giggles with some words of shock afterward. A few couldn't make it to the end -- but we highly recommend it, especially for the masochists!
The song starts with an electronic piano and the diva rattling off a bunch of games to the music, then something like the Fifth Element's Opera bass line kicks in. The backup singers chant, "Infogrames is innovation, the power of imagination. Infogrames is entertainment that rocks my world!"
We have no idea who sings the song, who wrote it, or anything else. But we're sure the internets can provide answers if somebody starts digging -- and please let us know what you find in the comments. And make sure to listen to the whole song, the belting finale is something not to miss. If you're looking for something utterly cringe inducing today, you won't be disappointed!

Heard this one about 4 or 5 years ago. There is also a terrible EA corporate song titled "EA, were gonna kick some ass"

Wow.... that was absolutely disgusting. I feel sorry for whoever was involved in making it...

Wow, I haven't heard that in years. I used to work in QA over there and when people would get frustrated or weren't feeling well, they would blast the music from their cube and everyone in the QA pit area could hear it. It drove most of us nuts and were very embarrassed when we heard it. Everyone else would just laugh hysterically while mocking Bruno and that other French guy who thought our QA dept doubled as a day care for his kids.

Someone who worked under Infrogrames sent me that a few years back. Between gasps for air during a painful, lung collapsing episode of laughter, I tried to console him for having ties to a company that would create such a thing.
But you know it rocks your world. Just admit it, you were these with your eyes closed biting your lip while rocking an air guitar.
Yes! This needs to be an easter egg in Rock Band!

Some of the comments on the gay gamer site are pretty funny.
If I were gay and coming out of the closet, i'd just play that that song to my family and I think they'd get the point...
