If you find that the constant deluge of statistics and sales data still fails to convey the enormous success enjoyed by Nintendo's DS, perhaps a strong visual indicator will be enough to convince you. Constructed by one "loopy," this decidedly unportable device clearly proclaims that the DS is big in Japan. In fact, this one's big everywhere. Though it's really just a larger input and display powered by the normal DS' innards, it's estimated to cost $600 if you're setting it up from scratch. We recommend you print out the funds with your regular DS before proceeding.
Change your point of view for other ugly scenes and have a look at the video after the break.

Just to display some pointless information I know . . . that is a screen from a Gateway m275 Tablet PC for anyone interested . . . if it says so in the video I didn't bother to watch it :)

3D graphics would look like crap on it, though.

I dunno, Mario Kart looks okay on it, but it's kinda hard to tell from this one video.

I'll never understand why Nintendo didn't include a simple address book and datebook application with the DS.
For a lot of people if they have to make a choice between a device that plays games but doesn't do anything else and a device that has PDA functionality and also plays solitare they're going to stick with the PDA.
I'm not saying that the DS could have replaced the PDA, but having basic address and organizer functionality could have made it a lot more *useful*.
