Adam Sutherland @ Sep 14th 2007 3:34PM
How long until Jack Thompson sues them for threatening him?
Crazd @ Sep 14th 2007 3:39PM
Hahahaha, that's freakin beautiful. I really want Halo 3 but I do agree that this advertisement/hype is getting out of hand.
milestailsprowe @ Sep 14th 2007 4:17PM
I'll never get out of hand this is halo 3
ExMcloud @ Sep 14th 2007 4:34PM
U know what I thought it was getting out of hand to but then I realized highly publicized movies and music artist have this type of exposure all the time so maybe its not the marketing thats out of hand its the fact that a video game has never had marketing like Halo 3....So Halo will open the door for a lot of other games so they will have highly publicized releases also.
NATO_Duke @ Sep 14th 2007 3:39PM
Now I believe in teh haloz more than ever. I hope Master Chief gets me a shiny red wagon when he become the new Santa.
Neebs @ Sep 14th 2007 3:41PM
buy teh haloz, buy teh haloz.
Yuccadude @ Sep 14th 2007 3:46PM
Doctors will cure cancer and VD, but my favorite part was where the Earth has a smiley face made of clouds on it...
waynski1457 @ Sep 14th 2007 3:49PM
i disagree with this. the world will become an even crappier place to live because all else will be inferior to halo 3. except ill stop to watch a thompson beating any day.
Micheal82 @ Sep 14th 2007 3:51PM
Just the Jack Thompson beating would make the world a better place.
FM @ Sep 14th 2007 3:54PM
"Halo 3 Hype Hoedown"-my thoughts exactly.
sifer2400 @ Sep 14th 2007 3:56PM
wow so funny "flies on children's faces" lol "Barry bonds will stop the jucin" lol
Cellien @ Sep 14th 2007 3:56PM
Funny vid! But more importantly.. isn't there supposed to be a big Stan Winston made trailer today????
Forsakyn @ Sep 14th 2007 4:03PM
Stan Winston is doing a trailer for Halo 3? That could be kind of cool.
Opens with a shot of a military vehicle breaking down in the backwoods. Inbred hillbilly mutants then kill the soldiers using superior backwood tactics (and store them for dinner). Pelican flies overhead and out dives Master Chief. Cut to hillbillies starting up in slow motion as Master Chief's silhouette is outlined against the sun. Then WRONG TURN 3.
Ratchet the Lombax @ Sep 14th 2007 4:02PM
I agree that for the first week it will be a better place because all the morons that keep telling me I should get it will be in their house playing the thing and leaving me alone. Not the Internet people because I can basically ignore them but at my job and college they keep asking me if I'm going to buy it. And when I tell them no they look at me like I just told them the sky was brown and it was raining turtles. I guess they can't fathom the fact that some people don't like the game so their brains shutdown it's kinda funny to watch. But then they start listing the reasons I should get it and how great it will be until I just get tired and walk away leaving them babbling to themselves.
Shagittarius @ Sep 14th 2007 4:17PM
I would just call you gay and walk away.
Poisoned Al @ Sep 14th 2007 4:08PM
I'd vote for Master Chief...
Unless he was up against Gordon Freeman.
Forsakyn @ Sep 14th 2007 4:12PM
Hmm, Gordon Freeman as president? "President Freeman, what will be your first action as president? ... President Freeman? ..." It'd be interesting having a president that doesn't utter a word. :)
Shagittarius @ Sep 14th 2007 4:19PM
Morgan Freeman was president in that ELE movie.
ExMcloud @ Sep 14th 2007 4:25PM
Gordons always been kinda weird to me....Weird look for a hero but Half Life is awesome so he gets a pass
Geist @ Sep 14th 2007 4:31PM
What made Freeman such an awesome hero was that he didn't look like a hero. He's a scientist! Who kicks all kinds of alien ass! Exclamation goes here!
Rubang B (NDF - Heart) @ Sep 14th 2007 9:28PM
I'd vote for Gordon Freeman any day, because if I cut my moustache back down I look just like him, and then I can steal his identity.
Nicholas @ Sep 17th 2007 11:31AM
In-fucking-credible
Slaziman @ Sep 14th 2007 4:28PM
When Bungie finally gives us Halo 3! (8)
Secura @ Sep 14th 2007 4:33PM
If only.....
Rask @ Sep 14th 2007 4:39PM
Halo3 will drop kick Chuck Norris back to the womb!
megaStryke @ Sep 14th 2007 4:54PM
WHOA! Wrong answer buddy. NOTHING can get the drop on Chuck Norris. Nothing.
faceless coward @ Sep 14th 2007 5:20PM
I'm not a huge Halo fan, but anyone who's willing to knock Chuck Norris despite that terribly annoying internet fad gets a plus from me.
Matt B (SDF - White Gold Ring) @ Sep 14th 2007 7:50PM
Chuck Norris's tears can cure cancer. Too bad he never cries.
Kaemon @ Sep 14th 2007 4:42PM
I knew the second I started it they would make some comment about the president... Ughh, ruins everything, because they think to be funny they have to do crap like that...
Aside from that, it was good.
ill trooper @ Sep 15th 2007 2:23AM
Bush owns you
kinshadow @ Sep 14th 2007 4:49PM
What have the got against Will Wheaton?
I wish he was in Halo 3!
Ratchet the Lombax @ Sep 14th 2007 6:11PM
Will Wheaton is over hyped just like Halo is.
ill trooper @ Sep 15th 2007 2:25AM
Will Wheaton is corny, and a terrible writer as well.
hotnutz @ Sep 16th 2007 2:58AM
Halo 3 overhyped? Haven't heard of it. ;)
Mind you, the US voted for Bush twice so you can't really blame them for liking Halo when they voted their amazing President in for a second term.
It makes sense why Halo is so popular once you realize how dulled that country is.
Ska Oreo @ Sep 14th 2007 4:49PM
Master Chief is the fucking Messaih.
Matt B (SDF - White Gold Ring) @ Sep 14th 2007 7:56PM
Master chavez is a PS2 mod chip?
http://psx-scene.com/forums/ps2-modchips/10417-messaih-2-via-soldering.html
hotnutz @ Sep 16th 2007 2:59AM
Hopefully he can teach you to spell someday.
wolve @ Sep 14th 2007 4:54PM
LMAO, funny as hell.
Oh yeah, the 2nd Believe ad is now up in different lengths on http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/h/halo3/believe/ . The official Halo 3 site has also been relaunched with a interactive on-line version of the diorama used in the ads. Pretty cool marketing stuff IMO, regardless if you care about the game or not. ;-)
megaStryke @ Sep 14th 2007 4:57PM
The guys at Bungie must have attended the Walt Disney School for Making Sure You Advertise on EVERY-FUCKING-THING. Unfortunately, they market through Burger King and don't have the heart to sell some fucking Kids' Meal toys.
wolve @ Sep 14th 2007 5:02PM
You mean Microsoft marketing peeps. I doubt the folks at Bungie spend much of their internal resources on marketing.
mmxzero @ Sep 14th 2007 7:00PM
They cant give Halo toys to kids, its rated M for Mature!!
LAboy @ Sep 14th 2007 6:54PM
Awesome vid, HALO 3 OWNS
LAZoftheTamarinds @ Sep 14th 2007 7:41PM

I do wonder if/how he dies.
bender @ Sep 15th 2007 2:53PM
Hilarious. Way better than the Wii song.
Sean @ Sep 15th 2007 4:32PM
hilarious song, though I do believe the ending needed a "yee-hah"
