Damn I really dislike all the designs for the Halo 3 merchandise, it's either simply green or an ugly artwork like the controllers.

I'd much rather simply buy those Halo 3 skins, look much better then this crap.

I love the color green, it's my favorite color. But that is seriously one ugly console.

Um, it's Army olive green. There's a reason for that color. It's called "a theme".

Yea, but for Halo, a sci-fi with a lot of vibrant colours and designs, making the merchandise a human military/marine theme seems pretty damn dull to me.

The Northern Virginia area Targets have had the green beast in for about 10 days now.

I think it looks kinda' cool, but I really can't stand anything that is themed. It just makes the product look dated and tacky in my opinion.

anyone else have proof that the 65nm processor are really in this edition of the 360?

It looks ok, they should of done more with the console and the marketing stragety. At least a 40 gig or something.

You're asking if it's worth it to pay the same amount that you assuredly paid for your 360s to get more?! This is a new SKU for a console that has barriers in front of owning multiple consoles. It's not meant for people who already have a 360, unless they're collectors. It doesn't come with Halo 3 because most fans of Halo had already pre-ordered the game when this was announced. Green is sexy. And maybe it comes with a hidden feature of active camo, so you can hide it when your potential-mate comes over.

It doesn't make sense to bundle the Halo3 game with this console. There's the Standard Edition, Collector's Edition, and Legendary Edition. What if the console came bundled with the standard edition, but you wanted to buy the legendary edition?

It's all about choice. Chances are people who buy this console will end up buying Halo3 anyways so it's more money in the pocket for Microsoft.

if I were looking for an Xbox360 then I would buy this one, considering it looks different and, most importantly, includes play-and-charge kit. The inclusion of a game like Halo 3 would've made this one a sure deal from me.

jimmy loved halo, and is super excited for halo 3.
little jimmy went to the store to get halo 3, and decided to buy the 130$ dollar legendary edition, the halo 3 xbox, both special comtrollers, a halo 3 headset, an action figure, a spnkr missle controller case, and on the way home, stopped at 7-11, got a halo 3 slushee, in a halo 3 cup, which there is 3 different editons of. (collect them all!)
later that day jimmy got aids, and bill gates came over to his house and took him away to his super mega mansion, (where gold toilets are laced with million dollar bills) and used jimmy as a welcome mat.
you see, you can help people like jimmy, by joining the fund to totally make half life 3 now.
