Who the fuck wants to play Sonic 2 online co-op? Who would actually volunteer to be Tails? I tried playing local co-op with my buddy and it was a complete waste of time. Sonic just races ahead and Tails occasionally helicopters into frame just to be completely left in the dust again. There aren't any times when you need Tails to do something. I guess he's a little helpful collecting rings in the bonus stages but seriously, who. gives. a. fuck. People need to whine about more important issues than this. Way to totally harsh my Sonic 2 mellow.

whether or not it's particularly enjoyable for you, doesn't necessarily means someone else wasn't looking forward to the feature.
and, just because a feature doesn't/wouldn't work well, doesn't make it OK to advertise that the game has it, when it clearly doesn't.

Yeah, I was looking at this game last night... trying to figure out why there was no XBOX live option. Good thing I didn't buy it. My GF loves co-op and we were looking forward to this, but... again... let down! Seriously, co-op is what is hot right now, developers should be all over that!
Guess it's back to Rainbow six... at least halo has co-op! Then it's on to Army of 2.

dude, me and my brother used to play co-op Sonic 2 on the Genesis. either he was sonic and i was tails or vice versa. it was fun. especially in the Bonus stages. its really hard to get the Chaos emerald if tails is trying to mimick your moves. he's not fast enough to evade the bombs.

Well yea...would you put the effort of putting in online co-op when 3 weeks from release, no one will be playing online.
I have bomberman and I want to finish my online achievements, cant do that cuz there's no one bloody playing the game.
But on the other side, I know when the game first came out you was able to play as Sonic and Tails with two controllers? If thats not possible that really does blow.

Its called reading people.
It would be a nice bonus if it did have online co-op for the single-player levels but it's not a deal breaker. I'm pretty sure they won't have a problems selling any copies though. It was/is a great classic game. Plus its got the 'chievements.

You can play Sonic and Tails with two controllers. It still blows. Racing is fun though. Racing you can do local and online.

Maybe you're just playing at the wrong time. There is no one really online for Bomberman til 6pm CST.

Odog4ever, trust me, I can read. I've been doing it for quite some time. I can especially read the part that clearly says "Xbox LIVE Co-op" on the left column feature section of this official webpage for Sonic 2.

Why do people feel the need to always say my girlfriend does this or that? who cares, its just weird. I dont go oh wow my wife just played viva pinata for 2hours straight! Every day someone has a posts that lets us all know some pointless anecdote about their girlfriends. Kiss her ass by spending more time with her and less time with the games. ( Believe me they may play, but they DONT like it that much. At least not many girls 23+) just my opinion and im not trying to be a dick but i just dont see what compels people to mention it. are u trying to subconciously give off some sort of proof ur not a nerd? or is it some sort of status symbol thing. Oh its probably because your 15-19 or so.

Not one day goes by that someone (probably a 15-19 year old, though maybe your new to relationships and older) doesnt mention their girlfriend in a post. NO ONE CARES about your girlfriend and her PRETENDING to like games.(she doesnt, she just wants to be around you dummy) Seriously I dont talk about stuff my wife did on a games blog. I'm more disappointed that you can't play as Knuckles. Oh well, I guess its time to fire up my old Mega Drive (Genesis)
