This is reportedly a 70% complete list. The songs are said to be accurate, but the list is incomplete, hence no Velvet Revolver and Atreyu.

Also, the Devil Went Down to Georgia is a custom metal version, probably done by the cover band as there is no artist listed.

hey apples: There are plenty of variety in there. It's not all heavy metal, as you can see when you read the list. I'm perfectly happy with the variety. Some old rock, some blues rock, some metal, some classic rock and TDWDTG for something completely out of left field. I feel they've raised the bar in potential difficulty.

I hope they use the original version of The Devil Went down to Georgia too. There's a lot going on in that song guitar wise and if you consider the fiddle a guitar solo, which you can, the song will be fun and hard.

What's funny to me is all the clowns who say they wont' get it because crappy modern speed metal band X isn't included.. they'll buy it, we all know they'll buy it...

I can call BS on this: Atreyu is supposed to have a song in it, and they're not on there.

Go to Soundtrack, and in plain black and white, it says - paraphrased, of course - that Atreyu is confirmed to have a song in there. Guess this guy screwed up.

if this is the final set list i'm gonna be real pissed off! no zeppelin, no queen, ozzy, no megadeth, no anthrax, no pantera. anyway all the reports said that there would be an Audioslave song, and 2112 overture and temples of syrinx (rush) are missing from the set list which was confirmed

Its probably the Primus version, but banjo or not, replacing the banjo with a guitar and trying to play that is gonna be tough and worth it. I've heard a metal version of D.C.D.T.G before too, that would be sick.

Rest of the list looks amazing, almost like they made it specifically for me... :)

Only thing they could do for me is to add a song by Nightwish, Soilwork, and Dream Theater.

this list cannot possibly be 100% accurate. there is at least 2 velvet revolver songs on the new game and they have released a video for the first one already. so take the list with a grain of salt. cuz its wrong

It's "Sunshine of your Love" not "Sunshine of your Life"... good lord.

I cannot believe Lars sucked it up and actually let someone listen to their song without paying for it in full. Christ. I am truly shocked and exceedingly happy to see "One" on there.

Arno, we're lucky there IS one Metallica song on there. Do you live under a rock? Lars and James are the biggest money-hungry jerks in the music industry.

I had no idea Bret Michaels had his own band. Seeing as there is already a Poison song on here, I'm not sure how much I can stand.

Liquid, if you paid some attention to good classic rock, you would see that this is an excellent list. If you want to listen to some skinny feminine-looking idiots singing like whiny girls, just blast it in your mother's basement with your man on man porn in the background.

I like how like 10 people are idiots and obviously didnt read the rest of the comments before they made a comment. This isnt the full list, the full list has over 70 songs. Theres also a link to an official with some of the songs 'missing' on this list. And to the person who said this is not 'Rock Hero', you may want to actually take a look at the title of the friggen game. GUITAR HERO: LEGENDS OF ROCK. Not legends of pussy shit. This is a great ROCK list, as it's meant to be. There are some that are weird to be on there, but overall its a fricken great list.

You can actually listen to the whole thing online with this Guitar Hero 3 song list. Personally, I think it's really awesome. The guitar hero franchise is probably my favorite new franchise and I'm glad to see it coming to the Wii too. :)
