DS Lite sells 700K down under

It looks like Australia is the latest in the long line of regions that show the DS selling like crazy. GI is reporting that sales and marketing director Rose Lappin announced the handheld has sold over 700,000 units in the country. "This promises to be one of the most exciting times for the industry, I cannot remember a time when there were so many quality titles released that delivered to everyone," Rose stated. And, with Phantom Hourglass hitting this year, we wouldn't be surprised if we saw the DS sell over a million.
