Japan to get GT5 Prologue on Dec. 13
OK, try to keep up with us. This is Game 3.0 at it's finest. So, you know Gran Turismo 5 right? Well, there's this thing called Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. GT5P is a demo for GT5, not to be confused with Gran Turismo HD, which was a demo for ... we don't know, how big the PS3's brain is or something. OK, so it was recently revealed in Famitsu that GT5P will be released on Dec. 13 in Japan, though no release date has yet been set for the U.S.
"But wait," you say, "I thought that Gran Turismo 5 Prologue was coming in October!" Well, sorry to disappoint you, prom king, that's apparently the demo of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. So, to recap, the demo for the demo (that's not the other demo) will be out in October, but the demo itself will be out in Dec. 13. Glad we could clear that up. Now, if you'll excuse us, we've got to go punch a crippled kitten.

What about Europe?!
Shagittarius @ Sep 20th 2007 12:59PM
This seems like a good way to never have to release an actual game again.
NATO_Duke @ Sep 20th 2007 2:08PM
Thats what I was thinking. Its so confusing how there are demos to demos and then HD, which wasn't a demo of anything but just a free offering for a scrapped game - yet people still call it a demo. C'mon Sh*t or get off the pot with this and release an actual game with a full set of features and more than one map. (Meanwhile, PGR3 & 4 will have come and gone..)

What the?,Man you got to Love Sony for this ****.
Ok let see if I get it right
Gran turismo HD was I believe GT4 but prettier but it was a demo?, I thought it was DLG anyway, now Gran turismo Prologue coming in October and it is a demo of the demo of GT5 basically is a taste of the demo, Huh so that means people here in America and maybe Europe have to wait to get their hands on the demo of GT5 but meanwhile they can try demo of the demo of GT5.
Sony fanboys I hope you don’t have to pay for that.
Btw what ever happened to GTMobile for the PSP?

There is an extra "and" and I miss an "A" in the end.
I'm not sure what happens but I never notice these mistakes until I post it.
Maybe I need a new pair of glasses.

Or maybe you need to just relax and stop posting boring, negative shit in response to everything you spy as 'Sony' related.
Word of the street(IDF-Digital Ruler). @ Sep 20th 2007 1:30PM
First STFU, I'm not a fanboy I just like to point at the obvious also I wanted to check if I was right maybe those demos are free and everything is cool or each demo cost 5$ and GT fans are getting their wallets raped.
So is not shit also you can't blame me, is not my fault. You can't just play the fanboy card each time someone says something not positive about Sony or What you think we all should hail Sony and be thankful that they let us have the Demo of a freaking Demo that is going to be delayed in America and probably Europe?
Also Why Sony can’t release GT5P worldwide like MS does with their demos and games?
Seriously never trust Sony release dates I learn that from previous experiences as a PSP and PS2 owner.
NATO_Duke @ Sep 20th 2007 2:11PM
GTHD was a free offering for the game they scrapped before deciding to make the GT5 they are doing now. No wallets were sexually assaulted for it. I enjoyed it the night I downloaded it, and thought it was nifty that leaderboards were included. Yet it was such a small offering that it didn't hold my attention to the next day.

Prologue is not a demo, because it has more elements than a demo, but shorter than the full version. They will probably charge for Prologue, but not for Prologue's demo which will probably be 1 or 2 cars on one track whereas prologue will probably feature a dozen cars (or more) and several tracks.
Calling Prologue a demo makes it seem like it should be for free when that is not their aim as far as I can tell.
FrankTheCrank @ Sep 20th 2007 1:05PM
fahking weird.....oh well, more waiting in PS3 land.
sounds like everything is coming 1st quarter next year.
FrankTheCrank @ Sep 20th 2007 1:08PM
Guess I'll have to fire up some DiRT goodness for now!
ecalmosthuman @ Sep 20th 2007 1:10PM
Punching crippled kittens is NOT funny. Nor is it a good way to blow off steam. You should be ashamed.
Word of the street(IDF-Digital Ruler). @ Sep 20th 2007 1:21PM
Nothing justifies punching 5ing crippled kittens,Not Even Gran Turismo.
ThornedVenom @ Sep 20th 2007 3:50PM
Tip for punching kittens: aim between the eyes.
Imadogg @ Sep 20th 2007 9:27PM
Hahaha I love the punching kittens reference. I saw when that dude's post was made, no idea in which topic but good job on spreading it lmao

That cat is UGLY! I'm an Xbox360 fanboy but all I can say is GT5 looks really damn good. I don't care that they keep releasing demos. It's probably going to be much better than Forza 2.
anantha92 @ Sep 21st 2007 7:51AM
All you 360 fanboys are gonna stop screaming out how awsome Forza 2 and PGR4 looks like once you get this. Go downlaod the trailer and shove it on a hdtv and see for yourself.
Game Artist @ Sep 21st 2007 11:37AM
Yah, but unfortunately it'll still drive like GT.
