More than a few readers sent us word about these gamer tattoos above that were featured on Albotas. (Higher-res: invader, invincibility star). The owner of the inkage, Robby, told us the history of each tattoo. The invincibility star was a Valentine's Day present from his girlfriend in 2006, while the Space Invader tattoo was actually a gift from his mom for his 22nd birthday, also in 2006.

"Every year theres a tattoo convention called Forged in Ink in my humble little city of Reading, PA and that's where the tattoo was done," he told Joystiq. "I got it because I've always been a fan of shooter games, especially the bullet hell games, and Space Invaders is like the grandpappy of all shooters."

So whats up with WRIST Tattoos?
It seems like everyone moved on from eyebrow ring and lips ring to wrist tattoos? When did thid happen.. AND am i Crazy or is it anyone between the birth years of 1980- on?
I don't have any but i was totally going to get "What A Horrible Night To Have A Curse" around one and "The Night Of Shivers Has Arrived" in Hirigana on the other with a little Kabbalah Sephiroth action and such.. but I've been Super turned off all the sorority girls getting them that say things like FORGIVEN and REMEMBER..

I'll call it
WRIST TATTOOS ARE THE NEW "TRAMP STAMP"
but for trendsters..

though I will admit... that space invader is pretty damn sweet. I mean imagine all the "smoove" sexy comedic value there is in that.
