Gamespot has the original story and an interview with Dan Greenwalt at Turn 10: http://www.gamespot.com/news/6179079.html?action=convert&om_clk=latestnews&tag=latestnews;title;1

He said that the tracks will take about 3 to 5 months to complete and they started working on the tracks when they started on the first DLC pack featuring the 908.

Finally, in over a month, a piece of news gets published that I tipped! :D woohoo!

(Dustin...could this have something to do with your mishap with that one button? LOL)

Scratch that previous comment...I had the Forge postings on Bungie.net credited to me.

Forza 2's slow DLCs are really pushing me towards PS3. I bought my 360 because of racing games and it looked like Forza 2 was the better alternative. it still is in terms of physics and online but it seems to lag in every single criteria to gt5 prologue. damn the graphics, i'm not seeing the as a major as aspect of racing. I'm talking about hundreds of cars and 75 individual tracks + included footage of top gear and best motoring. forza 1 was so close to beating gt4, so why is forza 2 behind forza 1 in terms of content?

In terms of sheer amount of stuff (and other things, such as interiors for every car) it definitely is more impressive.

GT5 as a full game (as opposed to the prologue) seems to be pretty far off, though... Maybe by then they'll have more to say about the next Forza or something else, who knows. Not that that's terribly much consolation.

too late....already resold my game.

got old quick and im not waiting around another 5 months for content like tracks?

my thing is, why didnt they just do the studies for tracks while in production, instead of just waiting. that would have seen to make more sense?

I can't believe it the Saturn Sky Red Line and no Solstice GXP. Come on. Thats any easy one to do. Just copy the same psychics from the sky and add them to the body of the solstice.

I was really hoping that they would pick up some newer cars, specifically the new Audi R8 Road Car.

A new track or two would be huge, and with all of the possibilities that are opened by a single track (front, back, short, long, full, etc.) I would pay 800ms points for it.

What they need to do is offer some rally tracks, and with that download include offroad tires and suspension setups... That would fucking RULE!

I'll probably pick this up for the Audi R10, although I don't care too much for the others.
