What will be up your alley though is that last five seconds of this trailer, which we don't even want to describe for you for fear of ruining it. Let's just say it's like a carnival ride, but at the end, there is likely death. Yeah, you should probably just go watch.

That looks like fun... The PS3 is becoming the most PC-like console, with its multiplayer-only games like Warhawk and this. I would snap one up right away if I could control it with a mouse and keyboard. I have an xbox 360 and the analogue sticks stop me outright from enjoying console games :(

a usb mouse and keyboard work out of the box in the ps3 interface. Unreal Tournament 3 has announced mouse and keyboard support as well. Soon enough, more developers will probably accommodate this common demand.

If it's anything like MGO(on MGS3S)was, the guy playing as Old Snake will probably hide out in a vent shaft or small crevice, send out the Metal Gear MkII and just go around zapping the hell out of people for shiz'n'giggles, pissing off just about everyone, LoL.

It looks fairly entertaining...I'm happy to see the PS3 finally getting some games that are note worthy of attention....Its finally coming around for Sony even they can't mess up Metal Gear....lol....But hopefully Socom takes some ideas from MGO....Good job Sony!

this is gonna be great. the only thing is playing as a team. Whenever i play any games online people just run off and do it solo.

That's because you are playing as "Master Chief" and he doesn't need anyone. His mere presence rallies troops in Iraq and makes grown nerds cry (ahh memories of all those fat nerds buying halo 1 on the xbox and crying on TV still makes me laugh)
Try playing online FPS action on the PC. Team Fortress 2 is a great example of how teamwork is done and encouraged.

I hope they have characters from Hayate the Combat Butler in the game, oy. I'm saying that because the anime is paid for by Konami oy. And the anime in and of itself, is pretty damn funny, with a blatant Solid Snake reference.

It looks fun. Perhaps too much emphasis on "standard" features, like having team mates and such, but it gives good insight on what to expect.
I tend to hate shooters on playstation controllers, but barrel roll FTW.

Umm yeah I watched it and it was just like most other Multiplayer games....
Nothing for 360 owners to care about. However I will comment on the fact that it looks more exciting than the single player gameplay so at least that counts for something.

Sounds cool in theory, but if the Battlefield series has taught us anything, it's that people are generally fucking stupid and would rather randomly shoot things than help their team.
