TGS07: Advent Children gets dirty on Blu-ray

But that's not what has us most excited. The fight scenes from the film have been completely re-rendered with a feature we've long waited for: dirt. The always-fashionable Cloud and company will have perfect clothes no more! They'll have to invest in even stronger hair gel to survive the battles that they face. The press release explains it best: "Clothing that gradually dirties through intense combat, faces that darken with soot from explosions, and motorbikes pockmarked with gunshots - the Complete edition brings a grittier, dirtier look to the film's nonstop action."
The now-Incomplete edition will now be too clean for the Square Enix hardcore. The added sheen of the HD transfer will only accentuate the dirty details that Square has deemed necessary to include in this re-release. Of course, we can't wait for the next 2160p "Really Complete Edition" which will add even more wrinkles to the character's clothes and subtle acne on their backs.

Am I the only one that found Advent Children completely uninteresting (except for maybe the Cloud/Sephiroth battle)?
Still, I'm sure this'll move a lot of PS3s/Blu-ray players.

I didn't play FF7, but apparently it was a HUGE fanservice for them. But even though, it DID make me drool bucketloads over its animation and fights.

Well I don't think its gonna drive people to get a Blu Ray player, for people who already own one, like me, its a definite get. Does anyone know when it is being released? I prefer Japanese audio with subtitles.

Well I for one really enjoyed the movie so I will deffinetally pick this one up. If you really like the game this movie makes you want more! Pleas Square Enix make a re-release of FFVII to PS3! It´s the best game I´ve ever played!

Well, I'm stoked for it. I've been holding off on buying AC because I figured Squenix would release it on Blu-Ray at some point.
And, no, I didn't spend $599 on my PS3. I got in on that Sony Style/Sony Card deal from a month or so ago ($349 for the 60GB after $150 rebate to the credit card). And I get the Spider-man trilogy in the fall? Life is good.

Man, Sephiroth must play with himself a lot to have all that wrist power. He's holding up a 180+ pound person in mid-air and at the end of at two meter sword! Don't blame him though, he is a pretty lonely guy:P

Nah, Cloud is so skinny he hardly breaks 120lbs. Still, you do have a point. Though not as silly as Cloud lifting a sword that is clearly as heavy as a small truck.

The point of putting it on Blu-ray is because of the added space that DVD's do not offer. Plus it's in HD, so NO its not coming to dvd. please read before you comment.

i still fail to see what ff:ad is trying portray..i mean, what i see is it shows sick children, weak minded cloud, and 3 crazy lunatics...the only scene i find awesome in the movie is the part where all the ff character worked together to fight the bahamut-like creature and cloud and sephiroth fighting scene....other ff character besides cloud and tifa doesn't stand out..its a sad & depressing movie(the mood in the movie)..it would be nice if theres more yufi or vincent is the movie..=P(stopping the blabbing now)

Men it looks cool i think i going to buy it ...but it have some details for example the sword that cloud had before sephiroth stab him is not the same after sephiroth stab him if you dont belive me look again...
