It actually runs surprisingly well in Wine. Actually, in my case, it /only/ runs in Linux, because the registry in my Windows install has inexplicably screwed itself up, such that Sam and Max will not actually install. (It and RenderMonkey are the only two that screw up, so I can't be bothered to reinstall the stupid thing).

In my case, the shininess stuff not working so Bosco and the Soda Poppers (for example) look like they are made out of china... and there is a weird memory leak which causes a slight slowdown every time I load a new area, so I have to restart the game quite frequently... but it works a hell of a lot better than Windows! :P

I have to admit, I haven't finished season 1, but everything up to episode 5 has worked. 6 probably works fine, too.

You can order the complete Season 1 or buy it in a store. If your talking about Season 2 you'll just have to wait.

Now if only I could download this on PSN, I would finally be a totally happy console gamer...

Telltale Games, they do episodic content right. (Unlike Valve, for whom "episodic" means every few YEARS.)

If you want to play them now, get them on PC. The system requirements are very low, so even a crappy integrated graphics PC could run them.
