As for the demo, the first thing anybody who has played The Darkness will notice is the main menu screen looks very, very familiar. It's also worth watching the "Introduction to Jericho" because it gives all the exposition so that the actual demo is pure gameplay -- be warned though, the voiceover guy is incredibly annoying. Although there are seven members of the Jericho squad, you'll only play as three in the demo. Controls are intuitive for anyone that's played an FPS and switching between bodies works really well. The combat takes a little getting used to, but certainly a demo worth checking out.

You don't need to upgrade, you need to pull your head out of your ass and fix the one you have. Maybe try uninstalling that dancing gorilla on your desktop and weatherbug? Just a thought.

This obviously is not a "high art", but rather really well directed horror-fantasy shooter.
A truly artistic piece of interactive work will come only when people start accepting games without a set structures.

THE BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!
Holy crap the bloom is annoying, its like smearing vaseline all over the screen and then shining a spot light on it.
Other annoying things include a spot of console-itus with the controls and some of the interface (mouse smoothing go home). Also having 3 settings (Low, Medium, High) for mouse sensitivity is just inconsiderate. No jump key, very linear (can't even fall off ledges - invisable barrier)
Saying that I did enjoy the demo, (way too short for such a huge file though, 10mins - tops) try playing it with just melee to get super cranked/pumped/chugged (v key).
Also sometimes the enemies grab you and it starts one of those button pushing scenes (no, Im not talking about the well bit.)
