Wow, that's almost like everyone laughing at Sony for finally putting in rumble.

No wait, that's exactly what it is.

Are we gonna get any other "choices" than the 20 GB and the 120 GB for the HDD? I'm about ready to jump on a 65 nm 360 (and 65 only), but honestly, the 3rd party HDD option on the PS3 is so great.

However, unless the PS3 magically hits the ~$300 mark this Xmas, a 360 it will be.

Canada already gets Forza 2 with our 360 to make up for the fact that we pay $50 more for the system. If they are going to start offering this bundle in the U.S. they will need to give us Canucks even more. At any rate I'm waiting for 65nm before I jump in.

the new cpu chips wont do anything except lower your electric bill 10 cents a month, the problem was with the gpu and ms have already addressed that issue with better heatsinks

ps3 with 1 game for $600 or a 360 with 2 games and rumble and a headset for $350, sony is going to have to pull one hell of a trick out their ass to counter this

Hey, I don't own a 360, and my girlfriend and I are both looking forward to playing Ultimate Alliance (she really dug Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows and has been looking for a similar game ever since). I've been waiting for official confirmation on this bundle for a while, and if it's for real then I'm gonna bite.

Whether you really like both games or not, this is a pretty good deal, and it gives you some Achievement Points to earn. Besides, if you don't like 'em, trade them in or eBay 'em to get Halo or Bioshock. Not like you're paying extra for them.

Actually, I've played some MUA on the Wii and I like the X-Men Legends games (plus I'm a huge Marvel zombie), so the game probably appeals to me on a different level than it does for you. For what it's worth, I enjoyed it.

To each their own.

Dude, c'mon...you said "However it happens on every machine I've seen that has the spring update." and so you think its true. Then you keep arguing it. So, if you think its true then cool, but I have not seen it on our machine.

Variable Gear: Because they know everyone will buy it anyways. Why give away $60? I don't blame them, either.

Stupid move...

No price drop for the holidays?? Dumb.

How bout making the 20gb version the "core" unit, and give us a 60 or 80gb version for "premium", and leave the elite as is.. every unit should have a HD.

Shit, M$ should give me a job.. but I'll take an Elite for now, thanks..

(Shakes head)

I know that variety is a good thing, inherently, but eventually too many 360 options WILL just start confusing the consumer

Methinks they're starting to push it a bit

I work at Radioshack, and we started to carry the game systems, just like Joystiq mentioned.

On the side of the boxes of our display 360s, it mentions the Arcade bundle, exactly with the 256MB Memory Card, HDMI (cable sold seperately), wireless controller, and the 5 arcade games.

If you dont believe me, take a gander at your local Radioshacks 360 display box.

I get the last word...F*ck all you stupid bastards.

I'm getting the CORE 360, with the 256MB card, wireless controller and some XBLA games. Oh yeah.

All for $279. Yeah, baby.

Time to scour eBay for a used 20GB 360 drive. YES!!!

i don't think you can switch hard drives from one 360 to another, it's probably some piracy protection shit. but i don't know for sure. ask in another 360 thread that isn't a couple days old. nobody else is replying here anymore
