Kojima Productions is done with MGS4 trailers, for now
"The pressure is really on to finish work on the game, and we have decided not to be sidetracked by any more promotional work," he said. That doesn't rule out making more cinema once the game is completed, but don't expect that anytime soon.
The nine trailers, for those keeping track, encompass three E3 Expos, three Tokyo Game Shows, two Leipzig Games Conventions and a Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Party. It should be noted, as Totilo observes, that one of the videos wasn't a trailer so much as it was 15 minutes of Hideo Kojima playing the in-progress game.

Damn with so many unfullfilled promises you'd think it was a Gran Turismo game they were developing.
=)

You can do better.
Jerk Face @ Sep 28th 2007 7:35PM
Ha ha... I see what you did there.
Fernando Rocker (NDF - Water Ring) @ Sep 28th 2007 5:12PM
Yeah... they should stop making this videos. They are wasting time and now the 360 version will be delayed two days more.
Secura @ Sep 28th 2007 5:20PM
Open your eyes a little more. There is no 360 version. Good luck trying to play it on your DVD's and overheated 360's.

Or you could just stop being an ass on every post that has to do with the Sony.

I think this guy just feeds off the attention. If you ignore him, he'll shut up or go away.

Just thinking about this game makes my thingy move. It's sad that only me and the three other PS3 owners will be able to enjoy it, although I'm sure we'll be seeing a sales spike when it arrives.
TMGE_rock @ Sep 28th 2007 6:14PM
euh.. the video embedded above is an old one, not the one from this years TGS
jtspanky @ Sep 28th 2007 7:21PM
I know this is off topic of all the PS3 bashing but did anyone else notice young Snake at the end of this? I've never seen young Snake in any of these trailers. Have I missed something? I thought this was to be the final MGS and they were going to kill Snake off. Where the HELL did young Snake come from? Please shplain it to me someone!
Jerk Face @ Sep 28th 2007 7:37PM
"Hideo!!! You got some splainin' to do!"
Word of the street(IDF-Digital Ruler). @ Sep 28th 2007 8:23PM
Solid snake not naked snake or Big boos is the young snake he appears in one trailer.
Now for all you newbs Old snake is naked snake A.K.A Big boss he is the original Solid snake. He appears in MGS 3 and Portable ops but he is used as a reference in MGS1.Now the young snake or Solid snake you can also call him Dave is from the MGS 1 and 2 series.
ikiryou @ Sep 28th 2007 8:10PM
Young Snake is likely another genetic clone from the Big Boss line. That would seem to make sense given the storyline.
Borjan @ Sep 29th 2007 5:34AM
Or, I'm thinking since he had the face camo on while he was in statue mode, switching your appearence to match that of a younger looking Snake is possible.
george @ Sep 29th 2007 1:18PM
old trailer is old.
that isn't this year's TGS trailer, that's last years TGS trailer. Fix!
Gator4Life @ Sep 29th 2007 4:16PM
Penny Arcade is money.
Brandon @ Sep 30th 2007 1:18AM
This trailer seems to be updated a bit. I seem to remember the animations not being as developed and more robotic. Maybe it was redone, with more current animations.
