You may have a few Zelda games on the Virtual Console -- and sure, we'd love to hear about those -- but which discs and carts do you still physically own? Sometimes, the best are just worth keeping, even if you sometimes don't even have the system on which they run any longer. We know a lot of people who've hung on to that first golden cartridge long after selling (or converting) their old NES.

The only Zelda carts I own are "Twilight Princess" and the original "Legend of Zelda."
I actually pre-order "Twilight Princess" before I even got my Wii. So for like a good week it was just sitting on my coffee table taunting me.
"Legend" (gold cart, of course) still has my name inscribed on the front. Every kid my age owned a copy, and we were frequently at one another's house; so my mom got paranoid and etched my name with permanent marker to distinguish it from the plethora of golden-plastic video games out there.
I never owned the other games in the series because there was always someone to borrow those games from.

Well, a lot ;-)
Zelda (NES); Adventure of Link (NES); A Link to the Past (SNES and GBA); Link's Awakening (GB and DX-Version for GBC); Ocarina of Time (N64); Majora's Mask (N64); Oracle of Seasons + Oracle of Ages (GBC); Wind Waker (Cube); Minish Cap (GBA); Twilight Princess (Cube); Zelda Collector's Edition (Cube)
I'll buy Phantom Hourglass as soon as it is released in Europe.
So I own all Zelda Games except for the CD-i stuff and that multiplayer nonsense for the Cube ;-) And the only game I didn't finish (yet) is Zelda II.

A Link to the Past (Virtual Console)
I had Zelda II back in the day before I sold my original NES. I got another NES later and rebought Zelda but not Zelda II. I also had the original Link's Awakening that I gave to my cousin along with my Game Boy pocket once I got my Game Boy Color. I bought the DX version at that point.
I've played Oracle of Ages and Seasons and Minish Cap on emulators (yeah I know, I'm going to buy the carts someday). I also plan on getting all the ones on VC I can because I like the convienence of it as well as the savestates and playing with the Wii-mote and Classic Controller.
As you can imagine, I'm quite hyped for Phantom Hourglass - even more so since I was able to try it at GameStop this weekend on a demo unit.
I love all video games but the Zelda series is the pinnacle for me.

I'm younger than most of you, so I don't own some of the earlier ones, and, in my foolishness, some of the ones I did own I sold off in my youth. So, as it now stands:
Adventure of Link (NES)
A Link to the Past (SNES)
Ocarina of Time (N64)
Majora's Mask (lenticular cover) (N64)
Ocarina of Time + Master Quest (Gamecube)
Wind Waker (Gamecube)
Twilight Princess (Gamecube)
Minish Cap (GBA)
I've owned the original Legend of Zelda, the LTTP port to GBA, and Oracle of Ages, but I was a kid and got rid of them--didn't even have an NES to play the first one on.
And Link makes appearances in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Soul Calibur II, and if you want to get really technical, Tetris DS.
Phantom Hourglass will not be added to that list for some time. I'm not throwing down $35 on a control scheme that I can't bring myself to completely trust.

I got it cause Nintendo always has ther release dates on mondays, not on tuesdays like every other company.

-Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Limited Bonus Disk)
-Zelda: Collectors Edtition (Bonus Disk)
As you can see, I don't own a non-gold Ocarina of time, Twilight Princess, Phantom Hourglass, the Game and Watch version, or any of the ones released for CD-I, but I have everything else including re-releases and special limited editions.

Link to the Past (GBA)
Minish Cap
Windwaker
Twilight Princess
I ran from school to the game shop just to get Twilight Princess. Zelda owns me. Sigh.

Ah I remember the first games I played were Link to the Past, followed by Links' Awakening. But it wasn't untill Link To The Past's remake on GBA that I actually physically bought a Zelda game. I followed that with Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, and Twilight Princess. I hope to get PH for Xmas...

I own every single one, including the re-releases. The GameCube collections, the Game Boy remakes, the monochrome and the recolors, etc. I haven't gotten rid of ANY of them. The only ones I do not have are the CD-i ones and I suppose you can consider the Game & Watch one, but I'm not sure those count. I even bought Four Swords Adventures and several GCN-GBA link cables, even though I know few people who want to play with me still. I bought Soul Calibur II just to play as Link! Heck, I named my cat Zelda (would've been Link if she were a boy), got the Fierce Deity Link statue from First4Figures (split the crazy cost with my mom as a birthday present), and my ringtones are Zelda themes. I've gotten several compliments on the discovery chime that rings out when I get a text message.
I'm one sad Zelda fanboy...
