Aw man, I was hoping that Orange box would magically drop this week too. As fun as Halo is, I can't wait for TFC2.

I bet Ninjabread Man makes a good profit for the developers despite the fact that it's rubbish.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is a quality PC title, does the PC not get love anymore?

It's certainly a PC title first and foremost, and given the kind of gameplay it features I wouldn't want to play it on anything other than M/KB, but don't forget it's also coming to the 360 and PS3 later (I don't remember when though).
But yeah, it's a great multiplayer FPS if you can experience it with good team mates.

Hmm, buy an overpriced port of a 10 year old game? Or buy another Zelda Remake.... I'm going with Zelda myself.

And I'm picking that up over another Quake Remake, andother NBA Live 05 remake..AND another Gran Tourismo remake. But Ninja Bread Man... that's looking to be fresh, new and Innovative.

new and exciting? ninjabread is also a remake. looks cool regardless, but remake none the less.

anyhow, how do you price a game? what value, monitarily, do you assign it? most games come pre-priced based on the console, but those numbers are arbitrary. there are complex calculations that go into deciding the price of a game based on the cost to create, the material resources decided by one set of market forces, time/human resources dictated by job market forces, creativity given another arbitrary market to decide the price, and that's just to figure out how much something is worth to make. then you have to figure that nobody is going to the trouble of getting along with a hundred or so people just to break even. somebody with the ferocity to get that together gets paid for that with whatever success he has with getting good people to work on the project. then there's the marketing. that costs money, that makes money, that's the opposite of good, but it is. also, there's the foreign market exchange.

i paid 12 dollars for a game i couldn't obtain for less than 50, it's 10 years old but i remember enjoying games from that long ago, and buying dvds for much more from much longer than that ago, and i've got no problem with recommending this game to basically anybody who likes videogames.

Sign me up for Rock Tour Tycoon.

Not really. Cash in much? How many freakin "Tycoon" games are we gonna have.

Maxis should have trademarked "Tycoon", because all these other tycoon games are trash.

In other words, I need cash NOW. ;)
