I thought this was gonna be a good blog, it started out so clever.
Then I remembered why I only go to joystiq for the writing: they're ps3 "dislikers".
Not exactly haters, they write something interesting about the ps3, then twist it. In that special way that says they are beholden to their boss, regardless of their own experience. In fact, one has to wonder, perhaps they do not have true experiences themselves, but only feel the universe second-hand, attentive to the wishes of the boss, they see and feel what he sees and feels, and who are they to question? He ACTS like he's right, and by God, he's convinced of himself!

No, Negativecool, I'm talking about a $400 investment in a dead piece of hardware, the 40 gig model.
I have said it once, and I'll say it again; Sony should have taken the $ they put into the loss budget for the price drop and umpteen different SKUs and put it into SOFTWARE. Beautiful automobiles drive nowhere without fuel... they sit and eventually rust.

I am pretty sure it will be a price drop, a price drop is the only thing stopping them from surpassing the Xbox360 and being second. I can't see any other news that would top a price drop tell you the truth.
Even if they did have Bungie, they don't have Halo and since Bungie is only now leaving MS I doubt Bungie has any games finished, because that would fall under the property of MS still. A vicious price drop is the only thing that would turn the industry on its head, of course every other system would drop their price also, and sony would be back to square one, but still that square one would be a fighting chance they don't have now.
