Heh, when you're able to print money like they do, $18 million seems more like 18 cents.

You know, Nintendo...$18 million would do a good job of funding a brand new Kid Icarus game.

...Just...puttin' that out there...

$18 million may seem like a lot, but when Nintendo sees our smiles and hundreds of pictures of Wiimote jackets on penises, they'll know it was worth it.

Finally! A decent pic to look at.

So who got the contract to make the sleeves, Durex or Trojan?

I don't really need or want these Wiimote sleeves. How about a free VC game instead?

I don't want them either, but dammit, if they're free, I'm going to get them.

That'd actually be a nice thing to do for the holidays... give out 500 VC points to Wii owners prior to New Year's Eve. This keeps Nintendo's trend of piece-mealing out internet encouragement & support and makes gamers happy buying an el-cheapo NES game of their choice.

YES. Damn good idea dude. I think you should email nintendo about it! I mean....a free 500 VC points would only cost them bandwidth at most...not even a real financial hit :):)

@arrgh

Exactly. Instead of ordering 4 Wiimote sleeves (or whatever the limit is), I'll take an NES-level game instead. Seems reasonable, right? It's a win-win for everyone!

The next accessory will be The Dr. Mario Pill. You take it daily and it prevents your body from throwing Wiimotes.

$18 is more than enough to fund my dream:

Play Sonic 2 with Mario (optional Luigi tag along)
Play Mario 3 with Sonic

Man Nintendo is the best company for protecting customers from themselves. What now 2 revisions of wii straps, now a controller condom and friend codes. But hey protect your customers to avoid lawsuits and or bad press.
