Activision released a ton of Guitar Hero III (due out on Oct. 28) tracks this morning, some you've probably heard rumored before, some of which are likely surprises to you. yes, but it's not a stretch to play it on guitar. I think it's a genius move to put in a song like that. It's a great change of pace, it's a very catchy tune and it will be difficult.

Its a solid line up and there are a ton of songs, but i still think I like the Rock Band set list better.

I hope they finally get their act together with the dlc. GHII waa a huge disappointment in term of dlc.

I like both setlists an awful lot, and the talk MTV is spewing about "thousands" of DLC songs for RB makes me giddy. If they even manage 10% of that promise, I'll be ecstatic. Hell, I'm happy enough from having *two* games this quarter to use my gee-tar controller on.

and before i put my flameshield up, just remember that just because it's "popular" and on the radio/mtv doesn't make it good. if anyone here actually plays guitar(well) i think you would agree that these games have given up on choosing songs with good guitar playing in them. instead they just choose what people want to HEAR but not necessarily PLAY.
