Blue and pink Xbox 360 controllers now available

They're here, they're pretty ugly, get used to it. The new colored Xbox 360 controllers are now available to purchase for $49.99. We really couldn't say it better than X3F when they pointed out these are the perfect "It's a Boy" or "It's a Girl" baby shower gift colors. Sadly, the powder blue controller we were hoping for and saw at E3 won't be in North America just yet, but you can always import it from Japan starting November 1. And just remember, if you hate all these colors, you can always make your own.

Are they shipping out entire consoles in the new colors or just the controllers? If it's just the controllers that's some lame sauce.

And seconding the different Wii colors! They teased us with a bunch of awesome looking colors but all we get is white (admittedly it looks nice but c'mon!)

I am sitting here at work asking myself why? Then I started thinking about my girlfriend who plays games as well and would actually love a pink controller so she can actually know which one is hers since I steal her battery back when I don't have time to charge my own, LOL.

The Pink one looks cheap and fugly not to mention it makes me sick.
Blue looks like some cheap Disney accessory but without mickey, donald or goofy.
