if you look at the end just before it sticks the guy it like shifts like a foot or 2 to the right.

Ummm... "luck" is just a term that decribes an unplanned situation that works out exceptionally well or ill for someone. Sure, some people think "luck" is an almost magical like force, but the term still applies to situations like this. It wasn't planned, it was luck.

Lucky yes, but there is a knack to throwing stuff into grav lifts. You can use the diagonal ones as artillery.

I've been watching many superbly edited Quake 3 videos for a long time now so I can't say I'm impressed, but Bungie deserves credit for finally making the replay function available to a console FPS.

My favorite has still gotta be the one on bungie.net where a guy shoots a dude in the head, the bullet richochet's off of two walls, and caps another guy in the head.
I love how Bungie made Halo 3 with absolutely superb physics. With that in place, all kinds of crazy shit can happen.

In terms of crazy lucky throws I have to say the one in my file share is almost just as good.... blind throw going off the mancannon for a double kill. This one is just so badass because it got caught in the lift XD
