Joyswag: Win a brand-new Darth Vader PSP-2000 (Day 1)
906
Don't be afraid to admit it: you want the new PSP-2000. With its slimmer figure, lighter weight, TV-Out functionality, and faster load times, it's a remarkable improvement over the PSP Phat. But, haven't been able to snatch a system for yourself? Don't worry -- we got you covered. Along with our friends at PSP Fanboy and PS3 Fanboy, we're giving away one of five brand-new limited-edition Darth Vader PSP-2000 systems each day this week. These Ceramic White systems feature Darth Vader's menacing profile on the back, and are a must-have for the dedicated Star Wars nerdcore. Not only that, the package includes the brand new PSP-exclusive Star Wars Battlefront game.
So, how do you enter? First, find out what the PSP Fanboy team thinks about Star Wars Battlefront (Andrew, Jem, Nick, and Colin) and then write down one thing you learned from their previews and leave it in our comments section, as well as on the corresponding giveaway posts at PSP Fanboy and PS3 Fanboy. We'll select one comment from all three sites at random tomorrow morning before we giveaway another PSP-2000
Of course, there are rules. You must be a US resident, 18 years or older. Limit 1 entry per person per site ... or else (that means three entries spread out, no more)! This entry period ends at 11:59am ET tomorrow, so get your entries in before then. For complete rules you can shared with your loved ones, click here. And much thanks to the fine people at LucasArts for the great prizes.

Colin used a math term when describing the controls. Obtuse, that's a funny word.

*Off topic, even If Im disqualified:
I dont like this kind of contest, with a random winner. Why dont you guys do another type of contest, like the Lost Planet one or something like? That way, people with skills get the prize, not at random.

Off Topic: Well, what do you suggest they get people to play? You can't suggest another system, not all people that want this will have it. And you can't suggest the system they're giving away, why exclude people don't don't have a PSP? With Trivia you might as well have it as a random draw.
This is the best way to include everyone, as well as plug their articles. I for one never would have read the reviews as I don't have a PSP and probably would never get a chance to buy this PSP exclusive model (except on E-Bay, overpriced). I plan on buying a PSP for myself this Kazimas (my birthday is right next to Christmas and I don't celebrate Christmas so I give presents to everyone for Kazimas) but right now I can't afford to dish out the cash, and my DS addiction doesn't help things either. And I'd for one love a PSP with Darth Vader on it.
On Topic: I learned that Nick has never played a Battlefront before, and hasn't touched Star Wars games since the n64, which is lohlable ("I found my cherry popping experience delightfully intuitive."). The best thing I learned about the gameplay (besides Galactic Conquest) is the added customization with upgrades to make yourself a capturing maniac. Though I haven't learned where, how or other things you can change yourself into.

I think the contest would be better if readers posted something that the editors liked, and the editors and writers would have to somehow read every entry XD Maybe a caption contest? But I'm sure there are too many to be considered, so I guess a giveaway a week with random winners would be the best way.

I learned that the game has various content to offer, but feels unbalanced to experienced Battlefront players. People new to these series will enjoy it.

It seems everyone enjoyed Galactic Conquest mode. I, however, did not enjoy "I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry". That was a sad, sad excuse for a movie. IMHO.

The game although easy, has a ton of content to be had. And is limited by the control scheme of the PSP.
