Viva Piñata toys are latest spawn from Microsoft, BK love in
If last year's advergaming love affair between Microsoft and Burger King made you at all uncomfortable, you might want to leave the room, because the pair are at it again, though this time things are are a lot less interactive, and a bit more, well, plastic.
In the march up to the October 30 release of Microsoft's 'family friendly' party game-montage, Viva Piñata: Party Animals for the Xbox 360, Burger King has made available a collection of Viva Piñata toys for customers with kids in tow (or adults with more shelf space than sense). The set includes a total of eight different colorful toys, including Horstachio, Sparrowmint, Elephanilla, Fudgehog, Macaraccoon, Fizzlybear, Cocoadile and Goobaa, with each packed with a 'surprise in every piñata,' such as a flying disc or every parent's favorite, a kazoo. Advil not included.

flameofdoom666 @ Oct 8th 2007 9:33PM
I love burger king toys! The Star Wars ones, and Nintendo ones in 20902 were amazing. Back in the day, they had Pokemon too! They always have had the best toys.

Does anyone know:
When does the Viva Pinata toys start?
When does it end?
flameofdoom666 @ Oct 8th 2007 9:35PM
Did it just start? Or is it almost over? Or is it a week old? Whats the info
DemonGSides @ Oct 9th 2007 1:21AM
went there today before I went back to College, and they were selling them with the big kids meals.
Thats all I know.
why not the LS2/LS7? @ Oct 8th 2007 9:49PM
I really need the sour Macaraccoon (red racoon looking thing). The Macaraccoon looked really cool as sours, but once you converted them, they looked really lame.

their chicken fries are good
their normal fries are just so-so though. mcd's are way better
Guybrush Threepwood (Sega Defense Force - Infallibility Ring) @ Oct 8th 2007 10:33PM
I disagree.
I can eat through a "bag" (or whatever you call that thing) of BK fries in a matter of minutes, while I haven't been able to finish a "bag" of McDonald's fries in awhile.
McDonald's fries are way too bland to me.

I agree with that other dude which name is just too long to type but yeah Burker King fries are better than MCD fries (MCD is Lazy typing for McDoanlds everyone) except for the MC well I don't know how you people call them in the U.S here they are called MCpotatoes(Mcpatatas) or something Burker king fries are the way to go.
I have the pokemon toys, the Lord of the ring toys and I have to say that the only Mcdonalds toys that I believe are cool are the Lego,Nintendo,Sega and the power rangers ones
rTwelve @ Oct 9th 2007 12:03AM
@ Guybrush I believe the term is "frypod"
BPM (FDF - Hypno-Toad) @ Oct 9th 2007 12:20AM
Frylock?
Oh, wait. Sorry.
I used to like McDonald's fries, but now I find them rather bland.
Burger King's are pretty good, while they're hot. I find that once they cool down, they lose all flavor, too.
I'm rather fond of Sonic's, Wendy's, Arby's, and Jack in the Box's fries. Haven't been to a Carl's Jr./Hardee's in a long time, so I can't judge them at the moment.
Pokémon toys were probably the best thing to ever happen for BK.
blooh (CDF - Ass Ring) @ Oct 9th 2007 1:22AM
Fryhole!
jack's curly fries are good, i always upgrade to them
raffleski @ Oct 9th 2007 1:21AM
Those look nice and colorful.
Tony C @ Oct 9th 2007 1:44PM
Sure! As long as it's not "nice and colorful" lead paint! ;)
Seriously though, these look awesome! Viva Pinata is what got me to buy a 360 -- just too bad they couldn't make the toys to relative scale, huh? Fizzlybear and Elphanilla would be HUUGE!! LOL =D
ALH @ Oct 9th 2007 5:35AM
if this promotion came out in the UK id be tempted to buy a kids meal just to get one of those sparrowmints
i dont actually eat fast food though, so the contents would have to be given to a local homeless i guess
baby sea tuna @ Oct 9th 2007 11:25AM
Can I get these without buying the meal? I'd rather chew my own foot off than eat what Burger King passes off as "food."
