40GB PS3 announced for Japan, Sony introduces white PS3

My view on all this is... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
well i have a 360 at the moment and will be getting PS3 for Christmas. The reason, There are a lot of exclusive games i want on PS3 for a start like Uncharted, Resistance, moterstorm, warhawk, Little Big Planet, MGS4, Final Fantasy XII, Haze(ITS NOT GENERIC! You have necter! + if any FPS is generic its WW2 shooters, and *Gasp* Halo!BUT Just because a game is generic doesn't make it crap!) They are the main PS3 games i am looking forward to at the moment.

As for multiplatform games i will get the version off the game on the best platform. UNLESS it requires a lot of proccessing power than i will get on PS3 (like Oblivion) to avoid crashing in a tense moment. I am dissapointed with the removal of BC but people who get a PS3 will proberbly have a PS2 which they should keep. There are many games on my 360 that i am Looking Sooooooooooo forward to like mass effect, Fable 2, etc.

I also Realy looking forward to Blu ray which i support over HD DVD due to greater studio support. I do not care who wins as long as all systems stay on the market so i can reap the benifits of all 3 console( my sis owns a wii)If any 1 of these consoles failed it would have a massive impact on the gaming industry as a whole. Now then i am extreemly dissapointed with the people who blog on this site, peole who claim othrs dont use facts however they neither use facts like gareth! you are an extreemly imature person. Not at all, he puts some people in their place(when needed)even though he may come off as a jerk. He also has fact to prove what hes discussing also... whats so sad about that? Because its not in your favor of the system/company hes and many other people are talking about?

Then feel sad for me too becuase I'm also a fan of Gareth. At least he uses his brains, presents actual facts, and uses satire (something most of you will never understand) to get his point across. Doesn't mean I have to agree with everything he says. It just makes me a fan becuase he does his homework most of the time on these things.

As for myself...there's a reason I want a Wii (owns a X360) now and a PS3 is maybe a year or two: I need more than 3 great games of my interest to convince me to pick up the system.

- No GT5 ain't gonna do it...sim racing games aren't my thing. Give me RC Pro Am (Rare bring this back!) or Mario Kart anyday.

- Heavenly sword has been getting no love from the game media so far. And uh...is it me, or doesn't it sound like god of war with an excuse to have a hot female as the lead character?

- MGS 4 doesn't interest me becuase I never was interested in Metal Gear period.

- Warhawk...ok game. Played it the other day.

- Little Big World. The jury is still out on this one.

- Everything else....well, that's what my X360 (and soon wii) is for. To not only play these same games, but to enjoy some of them at 60 frames per second. Sad how the PS3 is suppose to be more powerful and can't do that.

- Bluray. Don't care, and nether do I care for HD-DVD. That's why Microsoft gives us an OPTION, not a nesesscity(spelling?) to watch high def movies. Regular DVD is fine just the way it is. My TV displays a great clear picture. It may not be HD, but it's a sweet big TV to display some sharp pictures on.

So I wish you all and the media would get off the high def DVD bandwagon. I believe it's still too early to adopt to that point.

If sony stop bringing out so many SKUs, forcing bluray down our throats, and getting tons of great PS3-only titles, make our PS1 and 2 collection mean anything by having BC in all SKUs, their system will actually mean something. Oh and a lower price would help too.

And just for some flamebait, the 360 also has only TWO games, Halo 3 and Bioshock.
