Q: After "Demo Monday," was anyone expecting more demos to touch down on Xbox Live today? A: Hell no! But it seems the Live overlords don't mind stuffing more demos down our throats, as Major Nelson has posted the usual copy and paste announcing the arrival of Project Gotham Racing 4 and F.E.A.R. Files: Extraction demos on XBL.
PGR4 is available in all regions, and gives you a taste of Bizarre Creation's latest (and potentially last) installment in the series. F.E.A.R. Files: Extraction combines the paranormal with polish for a spooky first person experience. So what are you waiting for, get downloading! (P.S. Go Pats!)

So what is FEAR Files? Is it just a re-release of FEAR with Extraction Point included?

The F.E.A.R.: Perseus Mandate demo was released, too, on PC.

Well, I was completely wrong about the bikes in PGR4. They're AMAZING! Also, the cars feel a little weird, almost crippled. It's as if they put 90% of their time into getting the bikes right (which they did, but I still love a good Lambo).

Considering how many different cars there are in PGR4, from a Delorean to a Mini Cooper, to classic muscle cars, Aston Martins, Ferraris, and everything in between, it's not that hard to find some that feel right for you. They all vary so much in handling (from extreme drifters, to road-gripping supercars) that it's downright silly to claim that the cars feel "weird".

I understand what you're saying, but it's not the handling I'm talking about. As a long-time PGR player, I've grown used to the sounds of screeching brakes and smoke coming out of your tyres every 3 seconds. Of course, PGR4 looks better, but it seems to lack visual/aural feedback of what's happening to the car, whether you kissed the wall or ar just drifting round a corner. It almost feels like an EA game. I'm sure I'll get used to it though :)

I didn't need a demo to tell me that PGR4 was going to be amazing. I got it on day one, and it is by far the best racing game on the Xbox 360. So much content, such pretty graphics, extremely tight and responsive controls that just feel "right", and oodles of stuff to do in the single-player campaign. It makes Forza 2 look so last-gen, both in terms of graphics AND gameplay.

I woke up this morning and actually considered checking to see if any new demos were up. I didn't, but I should have... and will download both after work.
Cleveland will get its revenge on you New Englanders for this past Sunday when our Indians leave the Red Sox watching the World Series from their couches.

Brady to Moss, Brady to Moss, that's all I want to hear ALL year long.
Tell me, is PGR4 (demo) worth downloading if I own PGR3? Same question with the new FEAR demo. I already own FEAR and PGR3, so I'm not sure if it's worth it to waste the bandwith?

You guys must have a different version of PGR4 than I have.
The version I have feels half-assed.
The bikes feel tacked on, the head-on view is near unplayable due to being nauseating and also because you can't tell when you're going to wreck until the camera just goes flooey.
The cars are all arranged in classes (which is good), but when you buy them you can't tell what classes they are in.
I can't figure out how to view my cars in a walk-around garage, I can view my "amateur" and "professional" garages, but I can't tell why the cars in each are in those garages and why the cars I bought aren't there and ones I didn't buy are.
There are about 9 songs, and they're CLEARLY low rent. I do like one, but I can tell even that one was selected because it it was cheap to acquire.
The onscreen UI is stylish. But the English isn't even right "move (dpad picture) or (L stick picture) to select the option". No native English speaker would write that, and I can't think of many that would let it go if they proofread it. It would say "select option with..." or "select an option with..." or "move...to select an option".
It really feels like MS walked away from this game halfway through. Perhaps a result of the acquisition of Bizarre by Activision?

The Cowboys are NFC good. They aren't AFC good. What this means is that the Pats, the Colts, and others can own them like cattle.
Them vs the Bills WAS the best game in years though. It kicked the super bowls ass by a wide margin.

Nah I downloaded the Simpsons and Thrillville instead,I have to say that I'm pleased with the Simpsons demo it seems is going to be good probably a 7 out 10 all around.
Thrillville well I haven't play it that much but it's pretty good,I have to test the game in the sim mode,I hope is like Rollercoaster Tycoon.

I saw a demo for a new Crash Bandicoot on live the other day. Hadn't heard anything about it from any of the game news sites, so I figured it was crap and didn't download it. Anyone have any insight?
