Assassin's Creed Collector's Set is super sexy

We'd heard about the Collector's Edition for Assassin's Creed, but now that we've laid eyes on that 12-inch figurine, our lust for it has reached fever pitch. Listen to that ... if you're quiet, you can almost hear significant others from all across the country wondering aloud "Where you're going to put that ugly thing" from more than a month in the future.

While the Altair figure does look incredible, we're having some Big Daddy flashbacks looking at his weapon. Anyone else think Ubisoft should go ahead and set up the "Broken Stiletto" figure replacement site now?

Well, the rumble from first day, the achivements and a better online integration add more value to the 360 version.

Maybe better framerate too or better anti-aliasing, as always happen with multiplatform games.

didn't ubisoft confirm a while back that due to the processor set ups in the consoles, that the AI on the 360 version was going to be a bit better than the ps3 version?

Heh, I already have a space next to my Big Daddy and Exosquad toys for Altair.

Is this Limited Edition another ebgames/gamestop exclusive? I preorded it off ebgames.com but I'd rather much order it off Amazon.com for free shipping and no taxes.

i have yet to receive mine either. i am so close to just fixing the damned thing myself. luckily with mine, it is a clean break that can be easily glued. but i still want the art book.

You'd think we could have it by now. I don't think it should take this long for a big game company to just get some pre-paid shipping boxes out. Especially on such a large scale mess up. Even worse is I posted my information for replacement very shortly after the replacement page was made available.

I predict sometime next year at this rate.

Its still going to be 5ish months before games start feeling optimized for the PS3,still its not impossible they get this one working right.
if sony didn't swift kick logic in the balls with the no BWC with the 400 range unit I might try and repect them more but sheesh.....

goign to be another few months until the 64NM 360s are easily gotten...I hope they fixed the drive issues by now >

What? Altair figure? Nothx, I wanted an actual, functional wrist blade in the CE.

One good reason to always buy the CE versions is that when you come you sell them years later, you'll almost always get back what you payed in the first place. The Big Daddy figurine will be worth quite a bit in 10/20 years from now, especially if videogames become as popular as films.

The 360 version will be better of course...

That cover art looks sexy though. And I'm loving the green.

It make its STICK OUT and clearly identifies it as a 360 product while not clashing with the overall color scheme.

But I'm not quite sure if it will be worth the extra money just to get a toy figure...what else is in the CE?

Mark me down as a significant other who doesn't think that figurine is ugly at all. In fact, I'll probably steal it off my boyfriend's desk and put it on mine, next to my super sweet Gentle Giant Leia. And the Big Daddy figurine. They're all mine. MINE.
