Granted, some might say there's a lot of -- oh, what's the polite term being used -- "shovelware" coming to the Wii. Evidenced today by the mega-list released by Nintendo, but there's a game that even got the guys over at Wii Fanboy a little skeeved: Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 was a great game ... in 2005. As Wii Fanboy puts it, other than giving it motion controls, "what other improvements could Ubisoft hope to make to the title to validate it on the Wii?"
An extreme possibility is Wi-Fi play, as multiplayer was a component of the original game. Mostly though, Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 gives the haters more ammunition that the Wii is a great repository for old games "now with waggle." Nintendo should definitely attempt to craft good relationships with third-party developers and not continue down this path of "Nintendo is all about first party," but it's hard to see how allowing three year old games to make a second run with added Wiimote support is helping. It's still early enough in the Wii's life for this to be minimal, but third-party ports of old games will hopefully not be on the Wii justification list in 2008.

But O well, I've never played it, so now maybe I can try it out. Is it any good?

they also always rag on the PSP, the PS3, the 360 and pretty much whatever they are writing about.
Its their style, and it generates huge numbers of hits as all the fanboys from all sides jump into the comments to scream "bias".
PS/ I want more ports on the DS!

I hope Joystiq hasn't decided to give us updates on each specific crappy game coming out on every system this year, because that'll take infinite monkeys on infinite typewriters just to give basic synopses of them.

Wait, your serious... oh...
BUAHHAHAHA
Wii would like to destroy the future of gaming.
Stop (re)making crappy games and we'll start buying good ones.

The old guy in the background doing the heil hitler? Probably.
sure, people will point to MP3 corruption and Zelda Twilight Princess, but given both those games were nearly identical to metroid prime 1 and ocarina of time, the truth is, they weren't actually that good.
we get on our hands and knees and suck cock because they are classic name brands, but neither mp3 or tp were anywhere near as good as their progenitors.

But really, to be honest with you, the 360 is getting nothing but shovelware. You get down on your knee and suck cock 'cuz it's the Haloz. Also, the PS3 is getting nothing but shovelware. You get down on your knees and suck cock 'cuz of ... potential? What the eff?
So from me and the rest of the gaming community...
GO DIE IN A HOUSE FIRE!*

I'm actually playing OoT for the FIRST TIME. I wasn't ever a fan of 3D Zelda... but I've changed my mind... and I've just talked to Princess Zelda ~3 hours in... It's awesome!
Its math. Erm, I think.

Nah George Bush didn't actually serve. He sure as hell stayed out of Vietnam. As far as combat...all he does is push buttons and send other people to fight for him.Ahh, but I suppose that is for another site.

Dumptruckware might be a better way to describe it.

no, light gun games are not new, and no, light gun controls are not more accurate than a mouse, and no, tp and mp3 are nowhere near as good as mp1 and oot.

What's that? I think I hear your Mommy calling you.
do you realize how gay that is...
Do you know that an ellipses is not a substitute for a question mark? Considering that you have yet to use it properly I guess not.

in the end, it's not my fault if zelda goes to crap. really, i can always just play the quality zelda games on my pc in 1080P over and over again.
i'm going to play right now, instead of being depressed at the shit factor that nintendo has become!

Seriously, though, you'd have to be a complete and total fucking moron to even insinuate that Metroid Prime 3 is like MP1 for the Cube, in that the backtracking has been significantly lessened, the visuals have been given quite the upgrade (despite your repeated calling them 'shitty' which leads me to believe you haven't played the damn game), one can visit several planets (each locale is VERY different from, well, anything that was available in MP1), not to mention the controls, which were fantastic... calling them 'tacked-on waggle' is final reassurance that you haven't played MP3 on the Wii. And if you're that quick to judge a game that you haven't played/know jack shit about, that leads me to believe you haven't played Twilight Princess, either, even though your 'identical' argument has a bit more merit in that case (though not by much).
Dude, this has nothing to do with 'being cool', or avatars, or anything like that - you made a ridiculously stupid comment, and got called out on it. You're a real twit.
