Wii vs. Vii: Sincere flatterii

I would let out a hearty "HAR!" if the Vii became the top selling gaming platform and forced Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft (the gaming part atleast) into bankruptcy. Since it's in china and their population of children far exceeds that of every other country, this is all too possible. Well, maybe not bankruptcy...

but Does Vii play DVDs? If it does I might get one to play "Petroid Mime 3" on.

Well We really can't deny that the Vii certainly has better graphics than the Wii.

I welcome the Chinese to bring the Vii to the States to give Wii some serious competition. Those games don't look any better than what's on Wii.

those games actually look better then wii play and wii sports. Im sure it masivly fails when it comes to stand alone games compared to nintendo but I find it funny that they created a perfect system and demo game knockoffs so well and fast.

oh the fry egg game.. looks like a lot of fun, a game where I can actually well.. fry an egg!! oh hours of fun, I've always wanted to do that but was too afraid to burn myself.

Having been to China myself recently... what was said earlier.

No a good portion of the Chinese population don't have electricity.

No, Nintendo can't sue the Chinese over that console, even though I'm pretty sure it's the Wii's hardware verbatim save a few extra parts.

Will the Chinese be able to ship that product overseas? No, things change when products try to get out of China.

Will the Vii be successful? Tricky question. Just because a console is manufactured in a country doesn't mean it's cheaper. Try buying actual designer clothing in China. Worse, the Chinese have another nasty little habit of copying a copy. So not only will Chinese merchants be selling the Vii, but they'll be selling fake Vii's also. Thus the maker of Vii's gets shafted.

Will there be any good games for it? Considering I've played a great deal of the Chinese homebrew games. No, they don't exist, the Chinese play just about everything everyone does for the Asian region. But also nobody there knows what the hell they're doing when it comes to games so they simply rip source codes and copy full games verbatim, the only differences they'll add are in terms of artwork and names which is done very poorly.

As to the Wii is a gimmick jokes going on, yeah, very funny, way to demonstrate you're a bunch of tools. Have fun pretending to be clever though.

china has no originality whatsever. the technology over there isn't even close to what they have in japan or sweden or germany..that's why everything is made in china because it's cheap...
