Today's most vertigo-inducing video: Portal Lvl. 13 Time Challenge

All we can say is, don't stand too close to the edge while watching this video. You'll slowly lose your equilibrium and tip over, falling into the void without a Portal gun to save your ass. In fact, we just watched it a second time, but made sure that our seatbelts were securely fastened, and that our tray tables were in the full upright and locked positions. We survived, and have now ordered a cocktail and another packet of peanuts with which we can calm our jittery nerves.

Portal continues to stick out of every corner of The Orange Box as one of the coolest, and shortest, titles we've ever played. We'd love to see some new levels made available on a regular basis, as well as some FPS that will let us use the Portal gun on unsuspecting foes. Bring it on.

Definitely not just a reskin of the grav gun :P The portal gun can't throw stuff around, just pick things up.

Wow where have you been? You can most certainly throw stuff with the protal gun. Have you been hopping through with the objects? Fuck that, can get around much faster by tossing them through with the trigger.

Short games are the future!

Finally a game i can fit into my life without it taking so long that i get bored or forget what quest i'm supposed to be doing!

If only valve had worked out that episodic games should be really short before...

I'd classify it as more along the lines of actually pricing these games right. I've spent $50 on games that were just as short. Those try to tell me the multiplayer makes up for it (not a crack on Halo, it is longer than this).

blooh, If you have played the game and knew a little more background information about the game, you would know why it is short, yet completly worth it.

The developers made it clear that they didn't want to add stuff just to make it longer, they wanted it to feel fulfilling (which it achieved), the deepness of the game is great (not much of a button smasher as many other games even GoW)

oh, and the cinematics are above ANYTHING else out that thus far, its just amazing, seriously, I saw my friend playing Halo 3 and I was like "wtf is that, ewww", Im dead serious, go and ask anyone that has played the game, the level of design of the game is amazing, beyond anything else I have seen :]
