Japan celebrates Legend of Heroes series

gosh we here in the us are such robots. we all follow the leader. follow the trends. japan has so many popular exclusives its no wounder they get everything first and better than us. they are true fans of their favorite franchise. unlike us who cry about not getting naruto or anime games. then they get released and flop. what's the point then? monster hunter. naruto. crisis core. final fantasy 1-2, tactics. all games that we couldnt wait for now no one wants them.

I am debating whether to pick this up.
While it would be neat to have on the PSP, I already paid something like $80 for the PC version...

If someone comes up with a way to transfer PC saves over to the PSP - I`ll jump on it.

I love my PSP, thank you very much, but Legend of Heroes...not so much. And that's saying something, considering that my favorite type of games are RPGs. I still have hopes that a future Heroes game will be better (no offense to any Legend of Heroes fanboys, mind you).

The LOH games that have been released so far in English on the PSP were old. They were great in their time, as PC games... But sort of bleh on the PSP.

I don`t think that Sora no Kiseki has been released in English yet... This box set is a packaging of 1 and 2 (Or rather "First Chapter" and "Second Chapter"). They just released SC on the PSP in Japan.

Sora no Kiseki is a wonderful game. Totally in a different league than the other LOH games, with a significantly different system. I LOVE the LOH:Sora no Kiseki series, played through it entranced until the end - but the older LOH are just... Okay. They haven`t aged all that well.

I can't stand trolls, psfan I don't what hole you crawl out of but I haven't seen people whine about not getting Naurto, FF1, or FF2. No one cared about the remakes cause those two titles have apeared on MSX(FF1 only), NES, PSX, PC, WSC, GBA, and mobile phones(of which North America has seen two titles, three times before the release of the PSP editions).

Monster Hunter has a cult diehard fan following(in NA and PAL regions), while very vocal on the Internet they just don't have the numbers to propel the series into the mainstream.

FFT was just release, and is too early to tell whether it'll be failure(my prediction mostly likely not, due to it wasn't release here three times prior to this incarnation of the title). Crisis Core isn't even out here, but rest assured that if has FF7 in the title it will be a Greatest Hits(see FF7:DoC).

Uhh...pretty sure $20 in a bargin bin =/= greatest hits. Didn't hear a lot of good talk about DoC, so I'm attributing the fact that it showed up in bargin bins pretty fast to the fact that no one bought it, and not that it sold super well.
