Fans of the Korean-developed hack-and-slash-cum-RPG series Kingdom Under Fire may want to circle one (or all) of the following dates in your Official +3 Against Tardiness calendar because the series' latest release, Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom, is now dated for release. Japan, Australia/New Zealand, and Asia can play on Dec. 13; the Americas (that's US, Canada, and Latin America) on Jan. 8, 2008; and Europe, the Middle East and Africa on Feb. 1, 2008.
The Microsoft-published Xbox 360 (and later PC) exclusive will retail for the standard $59.99.

xbox 360 and pc gamers should not argue against one another. theyre becoming more and more alike with microsoft's live platforms, unifying with every update. we should be happy that this is happening because in teh future we will be able to cross platform and cross play our game from one to another without having to repurchase a game. immagine a world without sony where we can just go right over our friends house, throw in halo 3 on your friend's pc. he comes over anohter time and throws in hl2 orange box right on your xbox. a diskless verison of this will definitely be the future. downloadable games tied to your gamertag that can be shared and redownloaded wherever youre signed in. argue against sony or nintendo in the gaming world, theyre the ones holding us back. not xbox vs pc.

@secura,
i used to think the same thing. i built a computer almost 2 years ago for about $1500, but it can't compete with my 360. my 360 gets 100x the gameplay of my computer. i would have to put another 400-700 bucks into a new video card to rival my 360. waste of money! thats why they invented consoles in the first place ... to CONSOLidate.

Secura,
A good PC lasts longer and is better in the long run than a console? What gaming PC lasts 5 years? I build all my own PC's, which drastically reduces the cost and STILL I spend $1500 on a decent rig. Two years later it needs a new graphics card to stay on par- another $300-$700. So in the average lifetime of a console, I'll spend a good $2500 for a "good" gaming PC or at least $1500 on a "below average" one...
Or I could spend $350 on a 360 and not have to worry about blue screens of death (XP) or lock ups (Vista) or compatability issues or driver versions or hard drive space. Seriously, as a former die hard PC gamer, consoles offer a much better solution, they jsut aren't as "cutting edge" in the graphics or performance department. It's a trade off that I decided was well worth it.

Ah, I wanted to be first to comment on how "Circle of Doom" sounds a lot like the 360's "Ring of Death".

funny how everyone can only bash the 360's RROD which are not as wide spread as people would like you to believe. I guess everything else about the 360 is perfect.

can't wait. I loved the two on the original Xbox, so this should be just as good, even though it moves away from the RTS elements.

I can't wait until the inevitable sequels: Triangle of Confusion, Rhombus of Terror, and Parabola of Mystery.

This is one of the reasons I sometimes wonder why I have a 360. All of the good exclusives end up going to Microsoft's other platform, the PC, after a while. The only exception to the rule, so far, is Blue Dragon.
However, I'll take what I can get, mind you. ^^

These games are awful. I except nothing more from this iteration. Both of the previous versions would allow you to clear out entire maps by marching a band of archers/mortars around the map and keeping juuuust out of aggro radius.
I can't wait to revisit the continent "engulped" by war again.

just because you found a cheap way to win doesn't mean you have to use it

Whether I use it or not doesn't erase the fact that the game is obviously flawed. Why the hell would *I*, the person paying for this buggy game, be expected to dull my senses to enjoy their game?
Phantagram's a mediocre developer. They've proven it three times over with the buggy KuF games, and the awful, awful 99 Nights.
