It's apparently International Day at Guitar Hero II HQ, and Activision is celebrating with three new downloadable tunes from outside the United States (who knew other countries made music?). First up is "Sin Documentos" by Los Rodriguez, a track that comes to us all the way from Spain. How exotic!
Next up is a French track by Pleymo called "Sept" which proves that no matter how loud your band is, no one will be intimated if you're singing in French. Finally, there's "Exile" by Germany's Sweden's Soilwork, which , let's be honest, probably would have been more intimidating in German had the good sense not to sing in Swedish. The good news with these tracks is that they're not bundled, the bad news is that, with each at 200 points, you're going to be paying for the privilege. [Thanks, Grant]
The truth!!! You speak it!! But really, there is a LOT of j-rock that could easily work awesome with GH (HAMC!), but you get bonus points for being the first Haruhi reference I see today.
With GH3 a mere two weeks away, isn't this a little too late? Maybe they're just trying their best to live up to their claim back in April of GH2 providing the most downloadable content of any game on XBLM? Too little, too costly, too late.
Funny, those Los Rodriguez are very much unheard of in the whole spanish talking world, yet "no papers" sounded like a good song choice for all of us latins, "they all got no papers so let's give them this song!" if you really wanna rub it in add "Born in the U.S.A." lol
b*tch, please. your neighborhood (or country) doesn't encompass the "whole spanish talking world". they are very much heard of where i come from, and are easily one of the top 5 rock bands of the 90s.
And THIS is why I have yet to purchase a single piece of DLC from Red Octane for GHII!! They charge you 500 MS points for 3 songs and now these mother F@#$%&*'s are now trying to charge gamers 600 MS points for all 3 songs, talk about raking you over the coals!!! F U Red Octane!!!
It's amazing how u.s. people ignorance keeps surprising me, btw, los rodriguez is one of the most famous bands in Argentina, they're not spanish, but they're well known in Spain (you know that country to the left of mexico). What I tried to tell you is that your statement is like saying that Bruce Springsteen is an English singer.
Gah. France has so many better bands than Pleymo... By the way Justin, try listening to Belenos, and tell me you're not intimidated :) http://www.belenos.biz/
