Is this even a question? Rabites please.

"I *warned* you, but did you listen to me? Oh, no, you *knew*, didn't you? Oh, it's just a harmless little *rabbite*, isn't it?"

I have no idea what a "rabite" is, nor do I know much about witches. Probably because I haven't played either of these games. However, I will get back to you with an answer -- right after you ship me the games.

They were also feared in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

I find that the rabite, when brazed, typically tastes better than a witch, when burnt at the stake. While a rabite tends to have a fine, rich marbled texture to the meat, witches tend to taste like screaming, half-burnt women.

And that's a minor turn-off.

To some.

Rabites and witches is a battle for the ages. Like Crab vs. Lobster and Mario vs. Sonic. Wait a minute! Sonic is in Brawl and fighting Mario! The world am doomed! It's not supposed to be that easy to solve one of the greatest contests ever if they are actually fighting. Luckily Rabites and witches haven't actually fought in any game. Huh Terra of Final Fantasy VI so does not count as a witch when she fights Rabite enemies in the first overworld section. That's crazy talk.

Anywho rabites are highly evolved forms of squirrels, nature's drug dealers. They're highly dangerous especially since they cause the occasional plague through their mass breeding. Witches are good touching. Why else are there two witch touching games on our beloved handheld? Try to touch a rabite and you'll die but a witch makes her all excited.

Rabites 4 lyfe!

Rabites are obviously better. When you're coming at a witch, you know what you're dealing with: spells, hexes, broomsticks, flying monkeys, etc. But a rabite hits you like you don't even KNOW! Looking all cute and innocuous, and before you know it, you've got a chunk missing. Don't mess with the rabite...

The Rabite resembles a bodiless, one-toothed rabbit with large ears that curve upward and form a point at the tip, and a round, puffy pink tail. Rabites move by hopping along the ground. The most often seen variety of Rabites is the yellow, weakest one. Several other varieties exist, each being different from the others in terms of strength and abilities. A pink variety appears in Secret of Mana and as the Rabilion in Seiken Densetsu 3.[54][55] The latter game also features a lilac variety called King Rabi, and a green variety called Great Rabi.[55] In Seiken Densetsu 3, the Black Rabi is a hidden optional superboss, the most powerful enemy in the game.[56]

Legend of Mana features white Rabites simply called "Rabites", although yellow ones are some of the pets that the player can raise and use as a battle partner.[57] Non-enemy Rabites have also appeared in Seiken Densetsu: Friends of Mana, Heroes of Mana, and with the pet Buju in Dawn of Mana.[58][59][60]

Deadly and cute just like your...um. Give me ur games.

Yeah, I think witches are superior, as long as they're cute anime-style witches and not the more classical ancient and warty variety. Not only are they far more powerful in battle than rabites, but they make good arm trophies for a conquering hero...if you were the king of a newly liberated fantasy city, and you saw your savior walking up to the throne with a rabite on his arm, wouldn't you be more than a bit freaked out by that? Whereas if its a cute witch, you know he's at least normal in one respect.

Rabites. Witches are great and all, but they catch match a Rabite.

The with Rabites is, despite how cute they may appear to be, they are actually quite deadly. An excellent combination of traits.

Plus, they were in Secret of Mana, one of the best Super NES games ever.

"Witches or Rabites":

See, "Rabites" sounds like an amalgam of "rabies" and "bites", and I GOT rabies from a bite, which sucks.

Well, actually I don't know if I really had rabies or not. I guess the only way to tell for sure is if you have the animal in question, whereupon they kill it and take its brain out and poke it with sticks. I think they then put the brain in a robot.

Anyway, let me tell you, when you're ducking under a tree branch and something falls down the back of your hoodie and you reach back and feel what appears to be a bird flapping around and grab a suspiciously leathery wing and yank it out with as much gentleness as you can and you think to yourself "aww the poor lil' birdie (owtch!) I hope it's alright-- SWEET JESUS IT'S A FREAKIN BAT" the next thing that goes through your head is NOT "hey, I should hold ON to this flittering demon from Hades!" I mean, it's not like I had a spare Dusk Ball or anything.

So yeah. The aforementioned "owtch!" turned out to result in the teensiest little drop of blood on the back of my neck, which I discovered after I had fled the copse of trees shrieking like a cheerleader. I went to the hospital, because I heard that rabies sucks. Like DMV-level sucks.

AND, because I hadn't had the foresight to jam the horrible thing into my pocket, they had to assume I had contracted the disease. I guess by the time you show the symptoms of untreated rabies, you're dead or whatever.

No, they don't give you the shots in the stomach anymore. But imagine this: they take a long, LONG needle, stick it into your neck, squirt some stuff, pull it out PARTWAY, TWIST it around, jam it in AGAIN, squirt some more silver or garlic or whatever in, pull and twist AGAIN, etc. And that's ONE shot; they give you shots in a circle all the way around the bite. Okay, and all that? ONCE A WEEK FOR SIX MONTHS.

So: witches. F**K rabites.
