Lost Planet on 360 was fun to an extent. The single player game was kinda goofy (and frustrating in certain spots) but online multiplayer is a riot. I think American PS3 owners will dig it.

I'd put money down that PS3 gets Lost Planet and 360 (with the bigger user base) gets Lost Planet 2. It happened with Ninja Gaiden. Sony... always a year late and a jillion dollars short. Ha ha.

OH nice LP for PS3 that,s good news but not new news, i dont care if is 1 or 2 years old, i really want to play it, even if is an average or good game, im ready to kill, monsters pirates and bosses.....

(Halo 2 for PC did not recieve an excelent review; obvios the reviewers played the game to many times on their Xbox1 of course they did not find anything amazing in the game, but hey if you havent play LP give yourself a favor and buy it, you would not be dissapointed)

!!Heck Half Life 2 and Far Cry are 3 years old and they still Rocks....

Lost Planet is as old as Virtua Fighter 5 which happens to suck big time on the 360 because of the clunky controller and the graphics aren't even close to the PS3 version!

I've played Lost Planet and dig it, i'm glad PS3 owners are getting the chance to play it. Great game. Of course theyre porting it to the PS3, it sold well in the US. Their middleware LP engine or whatever it is obviously allows them quick and easy ports so im glad PS3 owners can share in the fun.

And as for your "VF5 graphiKs Sux0rz on 3601!!1!MEHmEhMEhmEH!!!"

You dont know what the hell you're talking about. Everything about VF5 is better on the 360, INCLUDING GRAPHICS (no jaggies!) except for the d-pad. Which is a given.

Then again, there are a couple different GOOD QUALITY arcade sticks out for the 360 so its no biggie.

Doesn't seem very promising if you ask me, but then again it doesn't matter to me because I don't own a PS3 (and have no plans to own one either).

If this game didn't sell well in japan, I doubt because its ported to PS3 that its going to magically changed things there.

Lost Planet was pretty fun. I only paid $20 for it off Ebay. $60 is too much. Have fun, PS3 only owners.

Please don't spread FUD. The game only took up 6gb on the DVD9 for the 360. All the content, that's free on XBL, amounts to somewhere around 685MB. It's simple math really, you don't need a blu-ray disc to hold the game and it's DLC.

Yep, that sums up the single-player experience of just about every boss battle. Shoot at the glowing weak spot. Get hit by a rocket. Fall down. Get up. Fall down. Get up. Fall down. Curse a lot. Kill the boss with just a fraction of your health left. Yep, good times.

why do these developers think we should be excited about old ass 360 games. give us some damn exclusives! or at least give PS3 owners as much attention as they give the 360. i mean i played the demo for this game at best buy and it was fun but dammit that was last year, it was completely off my radar and didnt leave a lasting impression at all.

Sorry, but your comments are wrong. Capcom has shown repeatedly that they are a multiplatform company. LP 2 and DR 2 will be on both. On the 360 to generate increased American sales and on the PS3 to generate JP sales. After all, Capcom doesn't give MS blowjobs. That is Team Ninja's job and they give great ones. Can't wait for NG2.

Wow I just thought of something while reading this. This bit of logic ensures the survival for the PS3 or at least a few more years. If Japanese gaming companies are forced to put their high end games on the PS3 because their is not enough 360 owners in their country and Nintendo limitations can't handle the game. Yes, you will end up with late ports or canceled games (Monster Hunter 3 anyone)but for the majority the games will have to come to the PS3 to see some/any kind of sales in Japan if they can't put it on the Wii.

So the answer to the question about weather or not is it important for the 360 to do well in Japan is only if they trying to keep Sony from getting games that were exclusives to them in Japan.

Meh, regardless of how many people want to rob me of my joy- I'll still pick this up. Tried it on my friend's 360 and thought it was cool, so now I get to play it. I'll buy DMC4, too... because unlike alot of ps3 fans, I'm not stupid and petty.

What the hell are you lot talking about Lost Planet is brill, ok the game it self is not the best ever 3dr person shooter but it is good. the online game play has to be the best ever "no argument"- Gears of war, call of duty4 and halo are all good but they are not anywhere near as good as lost planet (online).

Cant wait till the next one :-)
